I use these to put up my hair in ponytail or bun. They work great without tangling and pulling my hair out like a lot of them do. Best thing I have tried.

I love fabric hair ties, as they're better for my hair, but buying them at the store is frustrated because you can usually only find packs of five, and, let's face it, that's not going to last long at all, especially if you're like me and have a cat who likes to play with and hide your hair ties.This pack is perfect - you get five of each of the 20 colors shown, giving you a nice mix of neutrals and pastel as well as bright colors. Some of the ties are a little longer than others, but they're loosely tied, so you can tie them a little tighter if they're too long. I'm going to untie a few and snip them in half so I can use them on the ends of braids. I have pretty thick hair, and most fabric hair ties are an infuriating length fresh out of the package - wrapping twice is too loose and slips out, but they're not quite stretched at first to wrap three times. These, I'm able to wrap three to four times out of the package, though a particularly stretchy one wrapped six times.They do have a bit of a chemical/formaldehyde smell in the package, but I don't notice it when they're on my wrist or in my hair.

These ponytail holders are SOOOOO much easier to use than the covered elastic rings that I've always used. They stretch enough that you don't have to worry about ponytail headache from your hair being pulled too tight. The color assortment is fantastic, it's hard to decide which shade to use some days...so I go crazy and wear two at once. They seem to get a little wrinkled up after days of use, but I'm going to try washing/drying them like another reviewer suggested. At this price, they are a great deal, as well as being easy to use, and fun to wear. I'm looking forward to ordering a different set of colors next time!!

These hair ties are great! The colors are exactly as pictured and you actually do get 100 (some "bulk" items try to short you assuming you won't count the actual number you receive), and you get 5 of each color as shown. They are the same quality as the name-brand ones you buy in smaller packages or at boutiques, but the price on these is way better. They hold my hair well and don't seem to stretch out much after a few uses. I would definitely recommend them to anyone who likes this type of hair tie.If you have fine hair, like I do, they will still leave a crease if you tie your hair up tight. Some brands claim they won't but I have used many brands and they are all the same. It will just not be as bad a traditional elastic.My only minor criticisms are that the murky brownish green color second from the right on the bottom row is kind of ugly (but hey, maybe someone likes it), and that they were shipped in a large cardboard box with plastic bubble protection - that's a little wasteful, considering this is not an item that needs impact protection.

Soooo i cant even remember how long it has actually been since i purchased these hair ties...probably in April or may sometime so 4-5 months ago ish. The reason i purchased these is because these type of bands are a lot easier on your hair and better for preventing breakage that a lot of normal hair ties cause. I also have VERY thick hair and normal hair ties are constantly breaking on me. These are nice because you can stretch them out to loop around your hair tight enough. This pack was a great value because i still have MOST of the ties, surprisingly I haven't lost all of them by now and my daughter and i both use them. When i start running low I'll definitely purchase these again. The one and only downfall i see to these is that they are silky and slick and will sometimes fall out of my hair before i really notice. It doesn't happen often, and that is part of what makes them easier and anti-breakage so i cant really complain about something that i prefer to other ties, but may be a problem for others.

We love these hair bands. They're soft, stretchy, have nice colors, machine wash well (it actually brightens them when you have been wearing them a while because the grime is no longer on it), and even go through the dryer (LOW HEAT) and only shrink back to their original size. So, if your band gets really stretched out you can throw it through the wash (no hot water!) and put it through the dryer on LOW HEAT and in my experience it returns to its original size. We originally got these for wearing on wrists as a reminder to stop certain behaviors, but now we are using them in hair with excellent results. I like them more than the ouch-less style hair bands and actually have only been using these in my hair. They do look nice just worn on the wrist, too, and don't cut off circulation or leave marks.

They arrived quickly and were just what I needed. I am making masks and the girls wearing them say these are much softer on their ears. I think they would also make great hair ties as they were tied really well. We needed them long to sew on to the masks so we spent some time getting them untied! Great product. Thank you!

Good for use. I just wish they came with the ends pre-sealed. I understand they are tied, but little fingers find the most minute of imperfections and give them life.
