Very useful pen knife
Great blades from excel. Again for very small things and/or thin materials. Don’t try to cut an oak tree down and say they aren’t sharp or they are bad quality. Good fast shipping. A bit pricey for the blades though.

Don't you love it when you find the perfect tool to solve your random issues?
I am in love with this tool - let me tell you why. I am also a lover of lattes. I have developed a silly pet peeve related to the lids used for to-go cups. The venting hole is too small which causes two problems: one - it restricts the flow of coffee when sipping, and two - when you do sip it makes a grating air-suck noise that drives me crazy. I know these are silly things. To solve this problem I used to keep a pen in my handbag to use to expand the hole. Now that the coffee shops are upgrading to compostable lids (yay!) the material is a bit thicker so when I tried I either wasn't able to pierce the lid with the pens at all or I would try so hard that it would burst open the lid, the cup, or both. I tried several implements that were the shape and size of a pen but without an open sharp end so I could carry it in my handbag. It took nearly 5 years of hunting before I happened upon this retractable craft knife. It might be a silly little problem and a silly little tool but it still gives me great joy. It's good to pause to be grateful for the little things, right?

Good as the original Exactos.
I used to buy these from Exacto, guess they quit making them. Very useful, I’ve been carrying these pocket clip knives for decades. This brand is exactly like the originals from Exacto and performs equally well.

Compact, discreet, precise, an well-made
It's a sturdy, well-made product. The spring is pretty stiff, so you have to push the button in pretty hard to extend the blade. That may not be great for a retractable pen, but it's perfect for a retractable knife, because the blade is less likely to protrude in your pocket. It also makes a reasuring *kachunk* when retractedI expected the blade to be a little wobbly, but it's actually held quite firmly in place when extended, making it good for precise cutting. My only nitpick is that the pocket clip is a little flimsy, but I don't think it's likely to break off.

The perfect craft knife
I’ve been using this for years, it fits in my pencil case, I’ve done very detailed paper crafts with this because it has a very thin blade and makes precise cuts but I have also used in in carving wood, bone, and shell jewelry because it is so sturdy and is perfect for when you don’t want to have a full knife set, just something handy. I’ve even used it many times to just help me open an orange. It’s easy to replace the blade, but you don’t need to very often. I have tried their different retractable pen blades and this is by far the best. The others have a chisel-like blade that is too short an edge for me. Love this little tool.
