Great primary filter
I have been able to use the bag several times and it is holding up well. When I finish for the day I just rinse with water and put it in the washing machine.

liked mesh bags
We used these mesh bags for juicing grapes. They worked out quite nicely. We did have a problem with the bag popping out at the bottom when the press had gotten pressed quite hard, however, we took the bags at that point and put them into a large colander so they could drain overnight into a larger bowl. We might have been trying to press too many grapes at one time, and perhaps next time we will do smaller batches. Either way, I would recommend the mesh bags.

Good press for small amounts of apples
We did about 20 bushels of apples this year, the size of grinder and press you get will determine how long it takes and how many days. Likely you will only be able to do about 4 or 5 bushels in a day with the smaller grinders and presses. It just takes too much effort to do more. You will have to have a process as you must cut the apples into halves or quarters or they will not go through the smaller grinders. Get products that are sturdy and find some way to secure them firmly - the firmer the better. Both the grinder and press need to be screwed down to work properly. This year I tried to use zip ties to secure the grinder - next time I will use bolts, it really makes a load of difference. Same with the press - you cannot torque it down tight enough to work properly if it is not bolted to a concret or other very heavy object. Plan on building a frame, otherwise you are going to be very frustrated.

This thing is awesome. I cannot tell you how much easier it made pressing apples. I use a DIY press with a 5-gallon bucket with holes drilled in it. It was strong, easy to rinse out, and I could carry my apple pulp to the compost after pressing without it tearing or falling apart.

Exactly as advertised.
Exactly as advertised, delivered early. Fits my cider press well. Mesh is fine enough to not worry about apple chunks getting into the cider.

Good Stuff
We needed an extra mesh bag to finish pressing our apple crop this year. Yes, years ago we used bolts of cheese cloth for this sort of thing, and yes, other people supply (maybe) the more modern polymer bags cheaper than these guys. But, we have dealt with these guys directly and now through Amazon, and we know what we'll get. If you're a home/hobby producer, check these folks out for all their products. A lot of of our stuff is from them. What's not to like? OK, we hate, really hate paying shipping. But trust and convience sometimes costs real money. Enjoy!

Nice but could be better
It's a nice polyester bag and finer than the bag that came with my apple juicer but it does not have a hole in the bottom for the bar with the threads. I can't image a apple juicer that would not have this bar so I don't understand why they would not have this. I'm afraid if I cut a hole it will grow bigger as I can not sew this type of material. I would probably keep looking for a bag with a hole instead of buying this one again.
