Bentley Continental GT Gtc Flying Spur Shifter dust Cover

Unfortunately, this OEM piece did NOT work for my Bentley Continental GT.I take my car to a highly qualified Bentley, Rolls Royce and Bugatti technician. This is not a Mechanic who works on all brands of cars.He knew immediately how to take the Center section apart and reference the part that needed to be replaced.The new part was defective! There are magnets within the part that makes things function on the dash. These magnets, unfortunately, were placed in backwards. Therefore they had reversed polarity for what was required within the vehicle. After installing the new part, turning on the ignition, he looked and said “this is not right!”My technician had to transfer a portion from the old to the new to make the new piece function. Thank goodness he had the patience to figure out what was wrong with the new part.
