For the price it seems a good value. Not much to say about it, it's a face mask. I've used one so far and it removed from package without difficulty and without tearing, hung it over my ears and stretched out the mask and pinched the piece over the nose with embedded wire to form to bridge of my nose to make a decent seal. Does seem if stretched with much force it feels like it could rip, just have to realize when it's fully stretched and not try to stretch past that point. Even with my beard it covered my nose and mouth completely and under my chin. I say "seems ok" because I'm retired and don't go out much, about once a month for groceries as is normal for me. A quick trip into a store for produce and dairy items so didn't wear it for a long time. After doing my shopping the mask still looks in very good shape so left in the car for next trip... in a month.

I could not believe that I received these masks in only 3 days. They came sealed in plastic (all 50, not individually), inside a cardboard box. Now don't think these mask will stop a virus - they will not. They are on the thin side, but I cannot read through them like some other cheap masks. I do feel these give me a bit of protection and more importantly, keep me from sneezing or coughing on someone else. I definitely recommend them. The only reason I didn't give them a five star is that they are on the thin side.

The 3 layers are made up of a center filter layer that is about the same thickness as one layer of a 2-ply facial tissue. The inner and outer layer are fibers that seen to be there just to give needed support. Not nearly as thick as the photo on the webpage implies.It clearly says on the box and the webpage that they are not medical devices. Having said all that, I believe that they will serve my purpose which is to protect others from particles from my mouth.

To test mask effectiveness, I attempt to blow out a candle while wearing a mask. I was able to easily blow out a candle with this mask. However, since they were the only masks available, I am keeping them. I tried blowing out a candle while wearing 2 masks, and I could not. I'll just use these 2 at a time.5/31/2020 update: I made 2 separate orders of these masks.The first order consisted of pale blue masks that were thin and through which I could blow out a candle while wearing it. Wearing 2 of the pale blue masks I passed the blow-out-the-candle test.The second order that I recently received had pale TEAL blue masks. Wearing just 1 of these teal blues I could not blow out a candle.I don't understand the inconsistency, but I am glad that my second order of the teal blues have better effectiveness.

I've ordered these masks b/4 and quality is always the same. I deal w/glasses fogging up when wearing a mask but if I adjust these just right, have no problem. Health Dir. of our State recently described how some masks are more affective than others. Said to tell if you have a mask that protects you, hold it up to the light and if you can see the light through it, probably not the best. I tried this and whew! couldn't see the light so I feel confident in wearing this mask. ( : pk

These are just fine for the face mask requirement. Not for use in a hospital but it will get you into a store and keep the authorities off your case when out and about. Did notice that after a time, that the material starts to fray and you get fibers sticking out of the masks' edges giving you that uncontrollable urge to scratch. Otherwise a solid 5 stars.

Shopping online for masks can be frustrating especially when you want to find some good one, and it definitely it was but after going trough some different choices I settle for this masks and i'm really happy I did it.They are well make, no weird smells, the nose piece works fine, ear band stays in place, not thin for this kind of surgical mask at all.
