The device is very comfortable and works well.

It turns out that I am probably allergic to whatever this is made of. It irritates my skin, so I stopped using it. I have eczema, and that might have something to do with it.

These are good splints. Being soft fabric, they stretch out after one or two times of wearing them, so I have to pull them tighter each time. This makes the thick pull-tab fall in a new position each time. Also, they start scrunching down after some hours of wear, and them subsequent wears, so they don't seem to work on straightening out my toe as well as at first.I had broken the end off this toe, while running, in training to do a half marathon. The tendon shortened up on top, and the same for the bottom, so my toes is bent, and the metatarsal pokes down toward the base of the ball of my foot. These splints help a little with that. They are more comfortable than my other method of using medical tape to tape on half a popsicle stick onto that toe. But I think I'll have to go through several of these toe splints to finally get those tendons to stretch back out. It sure beats the alternative, though, of a surgeon cutting both tendons to lengthen them out.These splints have to be washed after each use, so I use a little hand soap or dish soap and lightly wash them out, after removing, then let them dry overnight.

If you have nice, straight toes like the model does, you’ll probably be OK. For me, they didn’t work. I have long second and third toes and short fourth and fifth toes. I needed a splint for my third and fourth toes. Couldn’t keep the splint on and the Velcro tab consistently irritated my foot. I tried trimming but couldn’t get it to work. A fix for the Velcro would be a little dot that is not sewn to strap end. that way the strap could be trimmed and the dot stuck to the new end and then fixed to the toes without having it dig into the neighboring toe. I’m back to using tape.

Works just as described. Helps with relief of pain.

Dont last very long if you don't buy several packages but the best I have found for correcting hammer toe. And I wear steel toe boots and they do a good job cushioning against being cut by the steal toe I'm ordering more right now. The plastic Velcro piece on the end cuts into the bottom of my toe when they start to get worn
