I wish I could give 10 stars. This has to be the best thing about camping. It holds so much water, and the spigot makes it the most perfect thing. My first camping trip was because of this. It lasted with one fill up 1.5 days, I had to pour the rest out. Great for cooking, washing hands, dishes, faces, brushing teeth, washing faces, and watering the dogs bowl. I wished this was around when I was younger, it best the heck out of water jugs. I would highly recommend it for all those needing a water source.

I’ve been camping for over 50 years, so I’ve seen a thing or two. Heavy duty? Absolutely. Convenient pour spout? Yep. Steel spring that rusts (id’d by prior customer review) updated with stainless steel? We’ll see.Minor ding: there is a vent on top that must be opened to allow water to flow that relies on a Velcro cable tie to hold it open. I find it very hard to strap it sufficiently to keep it open because the vent tension spring (that rusts) is so strong.So: I lightly sprayed the spring with spray on vegetable oil and put in a small SS worm drive automotive hose clamp to slide over the vent handle when needed and slide off when done. Shouldn’t have to go this with an $80 water jug.Would give 4.5 stars, but gets 5 for coolness factor! FYI I have two of their 5 gal gas cans that I’m very happy with.

Surf fishing from the beach can be sandy and dirty (think bait). I have used various containers that either failed or were not practical for my purposes - similar to the gas cans, this thing works and works great. I expect it to last as it appears as durable as the gas can. Also made here in the USA!

The built-in water faucet is made of metal springs, getting rusted over time and leaving tiny chunks of rust deposits at the bottom of the tank. Definity not safe to drink or for long-term usage.

Perfect product! Needed for use while at work for washing hands!

Arrived on time. I bought this to use in the back of my Jeep to wash my hands after home health therapy visits. One of the rivets on the handle was bent, I’m assuming on shipment as the jug was just put in a big box with no packing. This resulted in the inner plunger not opening fully so just had a trickle of water. Rather than deal with returning it, I took out the rivet and replaced with a stainless steel machine screw. This fixed the issue. It works very well. I would recommend this to home health workers! Only reason I didn’t give five stars is that the tube in the picture looks longer than it is. I ended up getting another tube and replacing it so that it goes past my bumper during use.

At first I was a little shocked by the price of this water container. I bit the bullet and gave it a try. The plastic is much more durable than I anticipated. A person could stand on this container. Seems like it will last a long time if it doesn't start to leak over time
