ARTRA Complete Skin Tone Cream, 2 Ounce

I purchased the ARTRA brand of skin tone cream because I read the good reviews on Amazon and other sites. I normally purchase the Nadinola brand, but thought I would try ARTRA because it is cheaper than buying Nadinola online. I must say, when I first opened the tube, it smelled like death or like a something rotting in a sewer! WTF?! I went ahead and tried to bypass the smell and used it anyway. I used the ARTRA cream for a few weeks. It did lighten some dark spots on my face a little, but not as well as I would have liked.I had to stop using that smelly stuff. I could not deal with the awful smell anymore, plus the cream was causing bumps on my face. In general, most fade creams/skin bleach are quite toxic and tend to burn the eyes even when you try not to use it near the eyes to begin with. I am Black with a honey brown complexion and I have acne prone skin. Most times when I get pimples, they turn dark afterwards unless I am already using a fade cream to prevent the dark spots from forming. Skin creams with hydroquinone are the only thing that helps to lighten dark marks that form on my face. Other creams never work. I do not recommend the ARTRA brand, it smells horrid, plus it does not fade marks that well; it works very slowly, if at all. I went to Walmart the other day and started back using Nadinola, which can be purchased in Walmart stores for less than $6! Creams with hydroquinone should only be used for a short period of time because of the toxic chemicals. I use it a few months out of the year, but wish I could find some other type of fade cream that works well and is not so chemical based.

My face had dark circles around the eyes and now they are gone.

This is a good product however I can't get past the smell I bought the same product before at a store so is just something to give used to

Purchased the product to clear age spots on my face under my eyes. It said it would work in about three months, but it only took two months. I love it. It really works.

Artra is great for those who just want to remove spots and blemishes caused by things like pimples and marks left behind from scrapes and scratches. It does what it says it will do without "bleaching" your skin.

Still waiting to see if it works as well as it did 50 years ago. I think it is but it has been a very short time so far. Fifty years ago as a teenager I used it one summer and had to stop using it because my face became too pale. Now at 66 years old, with discoloration all over my face, pale would be good. I THINK its working but give me another month and ask me again.

It works, on my sensitive skin.
