Alexis Leroy Men's Fashion Casual Canvas Slip on Flat Espadrilles

I wasn’t expecting too much for the price and was pleasantly surprised. They were very slightly snug on arrival but true to size for wearing without socks. I have wide foot and while they weren’t roomy, they had adequate room. Within an hour they had broken in a little and fit just right.I don’t see them lasting too long, a season maybe, but they aren’t athletic shoes for hiking or all day walking. They’re a comfortable shoe for knocking around on weekends or laid back days at the beach. Again, for the price they’re made well and look like espadrilles are supposed to.I also like that they fold flat and come with a zippered bag. Easy to pack for a weekend trip.All feet are different but I didn’t experience any problems some others have mentioned like the heel not staying secure to my foot. They don’t have any arch support or cushioning so think of them like close toe sandals.There are better espadrilles but not in this price range and they’re better than some I’ve paid more for. I’ll be buying another pair or two.

Rather strange questions for Espadrilles. Pertinent to regular shoes and boots but by their nature, espadrilles have no arch support, are generally not offered in widths. I just wish the size was provided in the European sizes as well as US generic sizes since all my life I have been buying them in Europe and I would like to know that I am buying here the same size I have been wearing in Europe. But these espadrilles are very much like the ones I have been buying and wearing in Europe since the mid 1950's. What I do like with these is the elastic set into the top of the foot which allows for a bit of give. If you want the espadrilles to take to the shape of your feet, just put them on, stand in water long enough to soak the uppers and lowers, then wear them until the dry and they will dry around the shape of your foot. I actually push down the backs and wear them as slip ons. As such they make good slippers. French workers would wear these all day in the south of France as slip ons so when they entered a house, they would slip them off to keep street soil from bring brought into the house. Or some would slip these on when entering the house and would leave their street shoes outside. Rather thoughtful and civilized.

Loved them so much, my hubby wore them on our trip to Washington- a 3 day trip up with tons of stops along the way, so they needed to be comfy. Unfortunately we got trapped on a tiny island and the tide came in before we could cross back. My sweet hubby let me wear them to trek the 2 feet of water and rocks to get back to the mainland. Needless to say I owe him a new pair- now I just need to wait until his size is available again. lol But it says something for the comfort and quality. A+ shoes

This is a great buy hands down. The denim color goes with so many outfits. They are cute with jeans even denim summer dresses. For me it was great to find my size…wearing a 12 women it is hard to buy ladies if you are not within a size 10. I ordered the men 11 they fit great. Being honest it’s a comfy shoe but if you are doing a lot of standing there is no arch support. However, just for a cute summer shoe these are great!! Will be buying in diff colors.

I ordered these thinking that they would not feel comfortable, but I gave them a try. They do fit better than I anticipated (10/10.5). The sole is very thin and living in a city I know that I will not be comfortable if I wear these for too long, but other than that, they look great and feel fine. I am glad that I purchased one pair. I purchased another pair in a different color.

The purchase of espadrilles was extremely disappointing.To begin, their is no support. When walking I came completely out of the shoe. No support, poor material, etc.Inside, front to back was very narrow.NOT A WELL MADE SHOE!My size of 9 1/2, is always THE size. These are advertised 9 to 9 1/2, which prompted me to think "maybe I shouldorder a 7?" If I did that the shoe would have fallen off.A long story short? The shoes are in the trash. You ( Amazon ) should subtract this company as a merchant.I should have known better. We get what you pay for.I purchased these while on a Amazon Prime trial, which since has expired. First pair of espadrilles for men. The shoe is so comfortable it's amazing. Not too much on arch support, but for puttering around they are great. Easy on, easy off and they look great. Don't think they are made to last forever, but comfort and looks outweigh all that. Will be trying other styles soon. Thanks!

Most reviews indicated that this shoe size runs small and suggested to get one size bigger. DON'T. I usually wear a size 7 and got a 7-7.5. It's too big and I have to return it.For perspective buyers: I suggest to buy your usual size and try it out first. Keep in mind that this type of shoes also stretches as you break them in.The built quality of the shoes seems really nice for shoes of this type. It's a great summer shoes and instantly up your style game even when you wear a plain tshirt and shorts.

The size is too small and the materials are quite cheap looking. You can find Tom's espadrilles for about the same price or a little more.Also poor customer service. I sent an email to the address on the enclosed card asking me to contact them first and to not leave negative feedback, but no one has responded. I think it is only fair that I let others know.Although, if your style is to look like a low-rent mafioso on holiday in Miami then these are the espadrilles for you!

I sent the shoes back as I received the wrong sized espadrilles. Can I trust I will receive the right size if I re-buy?

Nice looking and good quality fabric. Should last well and look good for a long time (for espadrilles).
