Buy this cover. It is perfect.
For anyone thinking of buying this boat cover that has hesitations because of a few less than positive reviews, stop worrying. Those people have obviously never owned a boat, or never had a great quality cover.Out the box and tied to the trailer with quality written all over it. This cover took me 7 minutes to install. This is very good stuff. Fits better than i hoped for and will do the job perfectly.I looked at several on line, and read all the reviews. I kept coming back to this due to the 900 thickness. Who wants a thin cover? Not me. Also, I liked that it did say full boat coverage. I want that. And an extra motor cover/storage bag. It is perfect. It fits my Lund 17 Pro-angler like a glove. No out the box cover could possibly be fitted for each and every sharp contour of a persons boat, so ya, you will need to watch for trolling motor, depth finder, downriger spots, etc etc. But other than dropping you rig at "who knows where" tarp shop; this does the trick very well. Just ad your sharp-edged protection stuff. This is a high quality, easy install, great fit (16 -18.5) cover. Perfect. Oh, and by the way, who drives down the road with a cover anyway? I don't, but i bet i could with this cover. Over 10 mph, a less than perfectly custom fit cover will always rub your glass or mar your aluminum. Always!!I recommend this manufacturer and this product. Even if you don't know boats and never had a quality cover. I will own this for several more years I'm very sure.

Most of cover material is durable...
I've had this cover for two years, now. The only complaint is that whatever they made the straps that go across the top from is NOT UV resistant and is basically rotting away. The actual tie down straps are fine and the cover is stitched thru this disintegrating black material, the canvas-type Grey cover matl is fine. Not sure why they even use this other strap material.

Great cover; worst straps ever.
I like the quality of the cover itself. I’ve owned boats for over 30 years and have purchased more covers than I can remember. The plastic buckles and clips on the straps however; worst I’ve ever encountered. The straps are not attached to the cover which I’ve never encountered before. So every time you remove the cover you have a bunch of loose straps to deal with but that’s not the worst part.Trying to tighten the straps causes the buckle to let go of the clip way before straps are even close to taught. The result is not better than just putting the cover on without straps at all. The cover would hold up to highway speeds I have no doubt. No way the straps would hold it on however. I would not buy this cover again with these straps. Not for what I paid.

Nice Material
I have had many boat covers with the average life span being about 5 years. The last one was a 600D material that only lasted 2 years before ripping. The RVMasking 900D seems to be a much better and sturdier material, good stitching, too. Of course only time will tell how well it lasts, but I am encourage so gave it 4 stars (I am expecting about 6 years of life). Fit is not perfect for my 17.5' fish & ski, but it is as good as can be expected for a generic cover. The engine cover fits my 150 hp outboard motor with a bit extra space.

5 year warranty give you confidence to buy
Works nice for my 17ft bass tracker. Had it for two years and no tears. Hopefully will last a long time. I feel comfortable with the 5 year warranty. My boat is worth the expense to keep it looking good from rain, snow, sleet and hot sun.I got tired of buying harbor freight tarps that only lasted 6 months then rip apart apart.I did however buy another HF tarp and threw it on top of this cover to protect the boat cover from the sun. Even if the cheap tarps rips, it protects from the sun. Just go and buy another cheap tarp. Like insurance protection.

Tried and tried and tried to reach customer support
I have tried in a futile attempt to reach customer support. I purchased a boat cover with a five year warranty and in two years it has disintegrated to the point it is not usable. I understand some delay but I have called, emailed, spoken with Amazon on this matter to avail. This is just frustrating and very disappointing. Support what you say and provide good customer service.

Works
I have a 18 ‘ bayliner center council the center of the cover could have been wider when I strapped it down the center is raven with the top of the boat instead of hanging down the side of the boat like the rest of the tarp also I bought this same tarp befor it said towable on the directions it tore the first time I tried to pull-the boat with it on I won’t try it again

The straps don’t hold and they are not designed well
I got 16-18’ model. Have only had it a month. I have a 16.5’ Lund v hull boat with a console. It is 65” at the stern and it’s 17’ long from stern to bow. The material is good and it is waterproof as we had 2” of rain last night and the cover kept it dry. But this is where it’s not good. The cover (for my boat anyway) is too long. It does not fit the boat well at all. The straps are not in the correct places on the cover for the boat and the strap connectors come apart if pulled too hard. I found this out when trying to trailer the boat. The cover was flopping all over the place because I couldn’t strap it down tight enough. And I wish they would have seen the straps into the tarp instead of having them separate. It’s a lot easier to pull them tight with them sewn in. Also the elastic band is a joke. It should be a draw string and I may try to make it that way. I also needed to add tarp holders and bungee cords to make it somewhat tight. I guess if I were to get this cover again I’d get one size smaller and actually I wouldn’t get it again. I only gave it the stars I did because it did keep water out and the material is good but over all I’d give it a 2 out of 5 stars
