This is a very good pick up tool. It is not for small items but for doing jobs like broken branches after a storm, rocks from the areas around trees and bushes that get out on the grass or walk, Fish tank cleaning and setup ( I have a large 120 Gal. salt water tank) and general house and garage cleaning. I have used it for all the listed jobs. It will pickup most items that will fit the jaws with the main limitation being what can your hand and arm lift. How well it will hold up to salt water I will find out in time I am washing it in fresh water after using it on the tank. ITHe main rason I bought it for was the tank and the other uses are a bonus.

I bought this to keep on my riding mower, I have a 5 gallon bucket attached and I use this reacher to pick up debris and rocks. I am astonished at the size/weight of rocks i can pick up with this. Unfortunately it fell off and I ended up driving over it ant destroying it. I purchased another one that evening. It's on the spendy side for teachers but worth every penny, 5 stars

I received this device yesterday and used it to pick up small sticks and debris in the yard. I have some reacher type pickup devices I use around the house to avoid aggravating my back issues, but the contact area for picking items up is small. Sticks often fall out.This device has a large contact area. I picked up dozens of sticks the first time I used it and none of them fell out. This is going to be a very useful device.I am 6 feet tall and bought the 40" version and it is just the right length.

The birds and I battle it out every year from late April to late June. They build nests in my awning and before they lay their eggs I always used a broom and blower to remove them. They build a pretty thick nest and sometime difficult to get down. Since I bought grabber its a breeze to remove those thick nest . My best purchase of the year

The media could not be loaded. This particular grabber is pretty good for picking up small things. I'm intending to keep it and use it indoors mostly for picking picking little things, which it does a good job on. Unfortunately it was not very good at all for picking up medium and larger sticks/branches, which is what I had originally bought this for after seeing the images and videos showing the grabbed picking up stones and bricks and logs and whatnot. I can't even begin to imagine how exactly they pulled that off considering when I was squeezing the handle hard enough to pick up slightly larger branches/sticks it was starting to separate the handle at the seam. I'll be adding a hose clamp or some zip ties to keep that handle appropriately shut, and intend to just keep this one for doing stuff around inside the house.

Has held up great using it with the fire pit. There are cheap versions out there but they’ll fall apart quickly.
