EZVIZ LC1 Outdoor Floodlight Camera - Black

The first one that came was broken but seller very quickly replaced with another one.I’ve had this installed for a week now, very easy to install by the way.Setting up with the app is very easy, picture very clear, light very bright, but you can dim it if required.Alarm works very well, this can be deactivated if you want to.You can speak through it as well, to scare off anyone who shouldn’t be there, plus as above, the alarm you can activate manually, it is quite loud.Records every movement and you can control the sensor to suit your needs.I know, it looks like I’m trying to sell this item but I have to be honest, for the type of item you get for the cost, it’s more than worth it.Other items of the same type are double in cost but this is ideal for camera, light, WiFi, recording, etc, etc.I think you get the picture as to how pleased I am with this item :)

Straightforward and reliable connection to router for remote viewing.1st issue was the very short length of power cable supplied to reach any type of junction box. I had to remove the cable and fit my own external version.2nd issue - far too many false alarms from flying insects or picking up bush & tree movement in wind.Otherwise a useful alarm and wildlife viewing camera for rear garden.

The ezviz security light is brilliant it's set up looking over my back garden and garage. You can see live viewing very clear day or night. I've had notifications at night and day when its spotted things ie . One night was a fox in the garden same next night . Im a big fan of ezviz equipment I have indoor cameras to ,the app works brilliantly loads of features, you can listen in, talk ,switch the floodlights on record video take pictures ,sound the alarm . Very good product.

I have 2 flood cameras but unfortunately the human and animal detection don't work properly, the camera detects everything!! (cars, light of the cars and vape), using the settings via phone or desktop are easy to use. The camera light is very powerful, 2 way talking also not bad

I’d been looking for a security camera for months but nothing seemed to deliver what I required, until I came across the EZVIZ outdoor floodlight.The camera quality is so clear and even though my WiFi signal is weak, the real time footage is perfect. I’m amazed really, especially for the price, considering a professionally installed security system will cost close to £700-£800.The only downside is that the camera is far too sensitive, even on the lowest setting as rain and insects set it off.

After installing and setting up this product at the front of my house, which to be fair is really easy, I was really disappointed/annoyed to get alerts constantly. I set the motion detection area to cover my drive only, but it kept picking up cars going past 3 -4 metres away. At night this gets considerably worse and it also sets the light off which has no adjustment for the length of time it stays on. I contacted Ezviz Technical services who advised me that the motion detection picks up changes in light not actual motion. So basically any slight shadows/reflections during the day(and I mean slight) and definitely headlights at night will set it off. They advised me to reduce the the detection area and raise the angle of the camera. This is easier said than done as there is not that much movement on the camera lens(compared with the replacement product I have had to buy).It didn't stop the alerts(slightly reduced) but made the camera totally useless as it wouldn't pick up any movement(light changes)on my drive because it was looking over the tops of the cars, not at them. Also the PIR for the light just about picked me up(6ft) but my partner could walk all the way to the front door without the light coming on.I have since removed this light and put it in my back garden, it seemed to be working fine until I woke one morning to 99+ alerts. It turned out it rained during the night and this kept setting the camera off, even though it was set to the lowest detection setting.I now have a very expensive security light in my back garden, camera detection switched off light settings only.There is an option(do not disturb) to turn off the notifications but to me the whole point of something like this is to notify you when there is movement on your property.This product is far too sensitive and is not really fit for purpose, I would not recommend buying it unless you are happy to receive hundreds of alerts every day or wish to wait until someone trespasses/breaks in and then spend hours going through all the unnecessary video clips.

Utterly brilliant. Bought this to increase security for aged parents. We have fitted this inside a porch and it senses through the glass. Does exactly what it promises to do. Linked to WiFi on the other side of the house with no issues. Very impressive functionality in the app; currently fine tuning sensitivity and range. All functions like the talk and siren work through the app however when it’s linked to an Alex Show it only allows you to see and hear what’s outside. Not a problem as far as I am concerned. When I am at work I can get an alert on my phone and see, hear and talk to whoever is at my parents’ door and they can look to see who is there before answering or ignoring the doorbell. Job done :)
