Solid all around beverage vessel
A die hard user of other double walled stainless drinking vessels, upon finding a review of the MultiBev and carrying a 16 oz coffee mug and 2 22 oz beverage bottles to work each day, figured why not give this a shot for combining one of them? I must say that I'm impressed! The coffee mug detaches from the main vessel and the rubber top creates a great topper, granted you can't close it completely like a slider or rotating lockable cap BUT much like a plastic coffee shop topper, if you're just in the car or at the office, it works for most drinking situations as a cup lid for hot coffee. I had no leaks or drips while drinking. Coffee stayed hot for the 3 hours I was sipping it.The water bottle does look weird without the detachable bottom, a bit top heavy since you are missing the bottom part for stability but alot of 32oz tall SS cups look similar so it's a proven design for automobile cup holders. Cold drink remained cold and ice for the 7 hours I was drinking it.Overall verdict: Kept my hot drink hot(coffee mug) and cold drink cold(soda & ice) separately, and at the end of the day I was able to carry out one vessel combined. WIN!Is it better than 2 dedicated separate drink vessels? in my opinion, no, here's why:1. The lack of lockable splash proof coffee cap on the mug section2. The top heavy upper vessel with lack of a movable carry handle strap(I tend to clip my Hyrdos to my backpacks) still make this a secondary choice for me.BUT if I could only choose to take ONE bottle on a trip, for 90% of everything, this would be it. Weird, I know. I guess if you are looking for the one bottle to do most everything, this is your "it". If you have the luxury of having a cupboard full of 5% bottles and cups, skip this. You don't need it. But then again, maybe it's exactly what you need.

Perfect on-the-go companion!!
Absolutely LOVE this water bottle. As a serial water bottle AND “reusable” coffee mug girlie, I’ve had my fair share of thinking, “I wish this had both.” I feel like my life is constantly on the go. I LOVE the fact that I don’t have to worry about forgetting a coffee cup or water bottle because I’ll always have both!!From the color selection, to the quality, I couldn’t be more pleased. The design seems to be really well thought through. The bottom removable cup screws on nice and snug to the bottle, and the water bottle itself has a really secure carry handle. Not to mention, BOTH capsules are INCREDIBLE at insulating both cold and hot beverages. The only nitpicking thoughts I have are:- It takes some getting used to where to hold the bottle to take a swig of water without unscrewing the cup.- It takes some practice rolling and fitting the cup lid (but not a lot!).- When the bottle does not have the cup, there is no rubber bottom to prevent it from easily being knocked over or sliding. Therefore, it’s a liiiiiiiittle less stable.Do with this what you will, but know that after having it for sometime it is still my FAVORITE water bottle. EVER.

Nice Thermos/Water Bottle
Neat water insulated water bottle and thermos, I've been looking everywhere for a 2 in 1 and this was a great purchaseto pick up. The color is nice, doesn't leak at all and your beverage stays hot or cold for quite a long time. The lid is rubberized/has silicone so it's really easy to close and open even with gloves on.

Awesome, but with a bit of a flaw
This thing is so cool because it's just a normal, insulated water bottle but also a to go cup! It's amazing how they are integrated so seamlessly together. But a possible problem is that the insulation for the bottom half is provided by the removable to go cup, under that is just a single layer of stainless steel. So if you use the cup you lose the insulation. So imagine you put hot tea in this to take to class or work or something. You unscrew the cup and pour half your hot tea into it. While you are enjoying your tea from the cup, the remaining tea in the bottle is now slowly getting cold since it's now just sitting in an uninsulated stainless-steel bottle.A better design would have been so the cup unscrews from the top half instead of the bottom. That way the bottom half of the bottle would still be insulated even if you remove the cup.But overall it's amazing how few compromises were made between the bottle and cup.

One of the best water bottles I’ve used
Awesome water bottle for the office and for a soccer mom watching her son play. Keeps warm beverages warm and cold cold. Mug and the storage lid are a perfect add on. I love this

Minimal size difference between the 17oz and the 22oz versions
Size:I'm reviewing to give my insights about the measurements and sizes of the 17oz vs. the 22oz version of this product because I could not find anything definitive when I was considering the two. I can confirm that the dimensions listed in the product details are correct. The exterior size difference is actually only .63" taller which I had questioned. Both versions are the same width of 3.15". See photo with soda can for scale.Having said that, I'm not really sure why Camelbak decided to produce the two sizes since they are almost identical. I have decided to send the smaller 17oz version back and keep the 22oz since I gain almost 30% additional capacity with only minimal difference in exterior footprint.I am giving it 5 stars because it does seem to be an awesome product. My constructive criticism, is that it would be nice if Camelbak offered an optional screw-on hot beverage lid for the lower cup. (Note, it is already internally threaded) While the foldable silicone lid is a nice idea, and handy for a lot of situations, I could see it easily slipping off. The other suggestion would be a silicone bottom boot because all of these metal bottle get to be quite clanky.
