Expensive, but worth it
After going through I don't know how many cheap folding camp chairs over the years, I finally took the plunge and bought a pair of these rocking camp chairs with sun shades. We are in the south and kids sports are everywhere, all year long, and hotter than the hinges of hell in the full sunlight at most sports fields. Soccer is 80 minutes long and that is a long time to roast. These chairs make that process a bit more bearable. The sunshades are awesome to keep you out of the sun and about as comfortable as you can be. They fold relatively easy, though getting the travel bag (which is pretty robust compared to cheaper chairs) can be a challenge with all the extra metal bars for the hood supports. The rocking feature is amazing and being able to just lean back sometimes really saves my back. There is a dedicated phone storage pocket, which is nice and a cup holder that works for cans, but I don't put my big old water bottle in there as I don't want to rip it. Good for beer or sodas though. Now the Cons: The cost is a hard pill to swallow, I can't sugar coat it. These are about four times what you pay for a normal folding camp chair, but the features and quality make it worth it. We have other sports parents friends that have had these for years and are still lugging them out to games and they still look and work great, so I know we will get years out of them too. These chairs are a permanent feature in my wife's soccer mom SUV and store small, so not a hassle to keep in there. Overall, we love them.

Awesome camp chair!
The GCI Outdoor Rocker Pro Camp Chair has quickly become my favorite chair to bring along. What I like most is how comfortable it is compared to other camp chairs. With most chairs, I end up feeling like I’m slouching or sinking too low, but this one has great support and keeps you sitting upright in a natural position. It’s genuinely relaxing, especially with the smooth rocking motion.Another thing I really appreciate is how compact it folds down. A lot of rocking chairs are bulky and awkward to haul around, but this one is designed to fold up much smaller, which makes it easy to pack in the truck or carry to camp. It gives you the comfort of a rocker without the hassle of a big frame taking up space.Overall, it’s well-made, supportive, and thoughtfully designed. I’d recommend it to anyone who wants a camp chair that feels more like real furniture but is still portable and practical.

Fantastic chair!
These chairs are WELL worth the money! They are comfortable, the sun shade is essential, and it is easy to set up. The only negative is that they are heavier than a regular chair but it is because of the hardware needed to be a rocker. We used them at a 6 hour concert outside and they were PERFECT!

Looking to splurge? Money well spent
I have had this brand of chair since they came out because your girl loves to rock. A camping chair that rocks?! Yes please! Now this one is wider, easy to fold, comes with a comfortable strap to carry it by, and this color combination is all my dreams come true. I have gotten so many compliments already. Highly recommend these chairs, always. Also, my daughter poured water all over it (as seen in the picture) and it dried quick. Looks:Color palette for my personality Sturdiness:Holds me up well even with my daughter on my lapEase of transport:The strap to keep it shut and the strap to carry are both easy to useReclining ability:Reclines back to a comfortable distance

Very comfy! Is a little hard to collapse.
Would highly recommend this chair! Love that it can rock (helps with sleeping children lol). Very comfy and sturdy. Only thing I have noticed is that it is a little hard to collapse the chair. You can get it to a certain point and then it you have to use way more force to get it to close the rest of the way. It might be because of the mechanism to make it rock that causes this? Other than that great chair, great quality!

Great Comfy Chair w/ a Fun Pop of Color
I needed something that gave my back better support than the typical fold-up chairs that leave me compressed and uncomfortable. This chair has been a great solution. The rocking feature is smooth and silent, the stitching feels solid, and the fabric is exactly as described. I especially love the mesh back, it makes a big difference on hot days. For reference, I’m 5’2” with shorter legs, and my feet don’t touch the ground in this chair. That’s pretty typical for me, though, so I just use a small footrest (something I always bring camping anyway) to keep a proper leg position for comfortable sitting and leaning. If you’re on the shorter side and that bothers you, keep this in mind.Overall, it’s comfortable, well-made, and a big improvement from standard camp chairs.

Big & Comfy - wife says it's kind of heavy
I wish it came with a bag, because I feel like the chair itself is exposed to damage without a protective sheath. The strap isn't great, but it's passable. All that aside, I love the chair. It is the most comfortable folding chair I've ever used bar none. I'm a little tall for it at 6' - it's not a *perfect* fit for someone with longer legs, but I only notice it if I'm being very critical.I wish they offered more colors too. Got one for my mom and it had to be the same color. I like the mesh back - good for the Florida heat. A little pricey, but it's a premium product. The chair feels very sturdy and well constructed. It likes to snag when folding it up, but I think that might just be mine. I see others that fold up easily, so I'm probably just missing something.Would buy again.
