Well worth the money!
I have had these bar stools in black for four years now. They are still holding up like champs! They are well made and sturdy. I am 275 pounds (at least) and they don't wobble when I sit down and are comfortable to sit on for extended meals. I love the rustic look! They are well worth the money.

these stools are pretty sweet. Assemble was a breeze
We finally decided to update the stools around our granite island and after much research decided on these. We first purchased 1 unit to test the quality and set up. To be honest, these stools are pretty sweet. Assemble was a breeze. Just a few large screws to secure the legs and the joints then you are good to go. I'd recommend using an electric impact driver for the screws because you want them to get in there nice and tight so the stool won't wobble after it has been sat on for a while.The finished product is very elegant and a touch of modern. We then ordered 7 more until Amazon ran out of stock.

Only bad thing was the seat base angles did not line ...
Sleek and very contemporary. The color is more of a espresso than black. Only bad thing was the seat base angles did not line up to the back of the chair. Luckily I have a miter saw and was able to cut the angle so it fit properly. Overall it was a good purchase and perfect for my needs.

Wrong information
This chair states it has a 275 pound weight limit in the product description. When putting the chair together, it was labeled as having a 225 pound weight limit. This is a serious deception as I have some overweight family members. This is unsafe!

No response from manufacturer!
The cross braces between legs are machined incorrectly! Have sent messages accordingly to instructions included with chair 4 times with no response! That is what I consider extremely poor customer service! As distributor Amazon should be made aware of this! Not a very happy customer with 25yrs retail experience!

These chairs are exactly as pictured and sturdy. After searching the Internet, we found these to be the right height and finish for our island. Upon receipt,we were relieved to discover that the stools were relatively good quality. They don't wobble and are solid. Great value!
