Bends copper and steel brake tube
I used this to run some new 5/16" copper brake lines on my car. I also used it to bend some American Grease Sticks steel 5/16" brake tubing with their Armor coating. The tool worked well, feels solid and is easy to use. It bent the copper easy and didn't mar or remove the coating on the steel tubes. I only used it for 20ish bends so far and haven't had any issues. There are some reviews that say the size groove can nick the pipe if not aligned, I was careful to align the pipe properly before bending to avoid any such issues.

Tube bender
For a small tool it works great. It bends brake lines precisely without kinks

Works great on larger break line
This bender works well with most of the standard gauges of brake line. I’m using mine to decorate steampunk guns, so my take mat be a little different. I found that the bends were pretty much uniform. Depending on what you need it for, this could be helpful. I would have rather had waves with different configurations. I really managed to do most of the work with ny hands (I’m using 5/16th I think.) the bender was helpful to make some preliminary bends, but I needed to work with it. It line gets very stiff when bent to different angles. Maybe this is all known information to those who are using brake line for its actual purpose, but this is how it worked for me. Take what you will.
