The perfect pair of linesman pliers?
I've spent alot of time looking for the perfect lineman pliers, and these are it. They have all of the features you could ever want and need, a crimper, a fish tape channel, super comfortable insulated handles. A long wide cross hatch jaw that is not too aggressive but just right to hold onto wires without causing alot of damage. A long cutting edge that cuts with ease, from the smallest stranded wires up to #12 romex with ease, i have not tested it on anything bigger than 3 or 4 twisted 12 gauge wires, but I believe it could handle it with ease. I only cut copper with mine or other soft materials because I try to baby them. I have exactly 0 complaints with these, and if i ever had a problem I believe wiha would take care of it.The finish is great every single edge has been beveled at a angle to prevent sharp edges. The whole tool seems well built and extremely durable. If you want a linesman plier with all the bells and whistles at a reasonable cost, with insulated handles these are the way to go.

Really good but overpriced.
I think my Channellock side cutters are equally as good.

Great set of insulated linesmans
These are a great set of linesmans. Cutter is sharp and fish tape puller works well. The textured grip of the pliers holds onto things well. The handles are also very comfortable. The crimper is well designed and makes good crimps. These are too nice to use as a beater, so I can't really say how durable they are. They do get surface rust fairly quickly though and are made in China or Vietnam.

Best Lineman Pliers I've Used
Let me start by saying I originally bought Knipex linemans because of the project farm plier video. I loved those but felt they were lacking in a couple areas and I got to where I didn't use them much so I sent them back.I then bought some Klein linemans and those haven't been very good. They don't cut well and their head isn't as wide as I'd like so I almost never use them now. But I still needed a GOOD pair of linemans. Enter these Wiha linemans. Most tradesmen will agree that the more functions a tool has the better (as long as it performs all of the functions well). The reason being it eliminates the need to carry mire tools. These Wiha lineman pliers do just that. They have crimpers which are fantastic and their cutter is wonderful. The handles on these are especially nice in design; they have a slight bulge at the top and bottom which is great because it keeps them from slipping out if my hands and it allows better control of the tool itself since I'm nit worried about it slipping. Lastly, the plier portion on these are second to none in my experience. They are wide so they can grab a good chunk of material and, most importantly, once they grav THEY HOLD. The grip ability of these is seriously amazing. I don't ever worry about slippage on these because of the grip power. Pretty much these things are almost perfect. The only think needed is to keep working theses open and closing them back a lot so that they open and close easier. So, buy these and you'll be glad you did!

My first self purchased pair of Linemans
They are AMAZING. the grip is so dang comfortable and the open/close action is smooth and feels reliable. Doesn't just swing open like it's loose. But it's loose enough that the lightest touch closes the jaws. I've cut loads of wire with em and they still perform like new. Wiha makes me proud to use my tools. They are visually striking as well!!
