Barberboss – Customer Service 5*+++I purchased Barberboss hair trimmer back in September 2020 via Amazon, despite a few negative comments, I am so glad I did. Battery life absolutely excellent, only had to top up a charge once or twice a year, it never went below 80! Mind you, I was only cutting hubby’s hair every 6 weeks, give or take a week or two, but even so! Cutting ability, excellent and nice gently hum from the battery. Then about 10 days ago, went to trim hubby’s hair and the trimmer was… totally dead. I contacted Barberboss, who’s response was unbelievably good. They advised that best to charge trimmer via desktop pc or laptop using USB cable provided (I wasn’t). However, even though out of warranty (4.5 years) they said they would replace my trimmer and cable free of charge! Now, you certainly can’t get any better than that!New trimmer arrived, again, excellent cutting only slight downside, they are a tad noisier that previous trimmer, but that is probably nit picking a bit!The trimmer is excellent and cuts better than some well know trimmers I’ve had in the past. I can highly recommend Barberboss, you certainly won’t be disappointed in the trimmer or their customer service, which is second to none.

This is easy to use, light weight and worked well out of the box. The battery life is incredible compared to my old clippers and the LED counter shows you just how much power is left, so you don't have to worry about the clippers stopping half-way through a cut.Unfortunately, my first clippers died after a few months. It turned out this was because I hadn't appreciated that the USB charging lead (there's no plug) should only be put into a 5V charging plug or a device such as laptop. So, basically, I 'blew' the battery. My only criticism is that this issue could have been emphasised more in the instructions. On the other hand, the Barberboss customer services dept were great and they gave me a replacement even though I had caused the damage. So 5+ stars for customer service.

I bought this BarberBoss hair clipper to replace another brand of trimmer that would no longer charge.I chose this particular model after reading a lot of positive reviews of it on Amazon. I use it for trimming my beard and moustache on a daily basis and it does this really well. It is has a more comfortable to grip than my old model and is easy to keep clean by rinsing under running water.The clipper has a ceramic blade cutter which is adjustable against the titanium blade between 0.8mm and 2mm by sliding a switch. It comes with four good quality guide combs of varying sizes and has three speed settings, one of which is very quiet. There are other models also made by BarberBoss that have a wider range of guide combs but the ones included here range in sizes up to 18mm.As well as keeping my beard tidy and neatly trimmed, it’s also good for trimming and shaping hair and is very efficient and versatile in that regard. The variety of combs and adjustable blade allow for grading of and trimming of hair.The battery life is very good, lasting well in use but also retaining its charge well when not being used. The trimmer includes a digital readout which gives a useful indication of how much charge remains and also indicates charging progress.As well as a charging cable, the set comes with a gown/cape, a comb, a small brush for keeping the blade/cutter clean, a small bottle of oil to keep the blades in good condition and two pairs of hairdressing scissors.This is a good quality clipper with some decent accessories and is a pretty good price for what is included.

Bought this in September 2020 very good hair clippers, Battery lasts ages, think i have recharged it three times in four years, i lost the charging cable after four years , contacted the seller via amazon they where in touch with me the next working day and posted a new cable that day for free.What amazing customer service and a very good productWould not hesitate to buy again and highly recommend this company

Hello, I have to write a review - 4 years later after we bought this. I have to say, it is easy to use, battery lasts long, There is no overheating like with some others, or doesn't make too loud noise. Recently we had some issues with it. We contacted Barberboss for some advise - as it was out of warranty and the customer service we received was amazing. The approach, responsive and advise given. Amazing. Can only recommend.

When I first got this, I thought, great it’s lightweight and not as heavy and clunky as my last set of clippers, it is unfortunately not USB C, instead it has a proprietary charging cable with a usb A connection, It shaves my head very well, I did however have an issue turning it off, no matter how much I tried it would not turn off. I figured water had gotten into this supposedly waterproof clipper? I had to leave the thing running waiting for the battery to run out, however after a few minutes running it let me power it off, I’m guessing the heat of the motor may have dried up the thing and displaced the water. I am now very wary about using it again in the shower, having the issue with it not powering off is, very frustrating.

Had mine for a few months now, use the longest clip to keep my hair short (effectively making this pay for its self after a couple of months of using instead of going to the barber)Use the small clip to trim my beard and... other more intimate places! Overall happy with the sizes the clips that come with it.It came pre-charged and I've not had to charge it yet myself.Easy to open up and clean, comes with its own little brush to get out the hairs and is adjustable in tandem with the clip sizes that come with it.Definitely worth it especially if you just chuck the longest clip on it and use it just for hair cuts, it'll pay for its self quickly.
