Hard to say what makes a set of pliers great. I busted a pair of Craftsman offset pliers, trying to crack open a hickory nut. And, I've stripped the edges of a nut off while working on my boat's hydraulic system, with a set of cheapo pliers.These Workpro pliers seem to handle routine jobs. The grips on the jaws are sharp and deep. Changing the width of the grip is not as smooth as on higher priced pliers; but once adjusted, the pliers don't slip.This set includes sizes of 12/10/8 inch lengths. That almost insures you'll have the right tool for the job. The longer the handle, the more leverage you have. But, some jobs require finesse rather than brute strength. Trial and Error will teach you which length to use.All of these pliers are about 3/8ths inch thick. For most users, that is perfect. It is a good balance between strength and utility. Now, there are heftier pliers on the market; but do you really need them? 99.99% NOT!Disclaimer: I spent 14 years on a commercial fishing boat. Dealt with stubborn snatch blocks, deck bolts, and various bolts that were rounded from corrosion. I'd be stupid to rely on Workpro in those circumstances. But, for the rest of you, it is worth buying.

I have had good results with WorkProTools before, and these are also good products.These pliers are easy to use, mainly because they are well, balanced, and easy to adjust. Three sizes of these pliers is a big advantage. You avoid the annoyance of using the wrong size pliers for the task at hand.These are quality tools made by people who thought about the end user.

These are no Knipex pliers, but then again, they are not priced like them either. I use pliers occasionally, and had a mish mash of random ones. Got the work area all cleaned up with french cleats, and decided that I want my newfound organization system to have not-completely random tools in it. So I went with these. Nice grip, nice jaw strength, does everything that I ask a set of pliers to do. Recommended if you do not use pliers for a living, but need them from time to time.

These are high quality and will last a long time. Its very easy to use. The adjustable feature is smooth. Comes with 3 sizes. They work just as described!

Good quality with good price

$25 for 3 is a fair price for these low quality slip pliers. They get the job done. Good for occasional homeowner use. Not for pros.
