I know that some people said it didn't emboss deep enough. I could see that if you don't have properly cased veg tan leather or have a light mallet. I use a press for my embossing, and I am having no issues. Nice and deep. Looks great!

This was a Christmas gift. My son loved the pattern. However, the stamps grooves are not inset enough that the pattern shows up very well. He even tried hitting it harder, which still didn't make it look like the picture.
