Porcelana Skin Lightening Cream Day 3 oz.

My doctor told me there was no way to fade a single, prominent dark spot on my cheek, but I decided to give Porcelana a shot anyway on the advice of a cosmetician friend. I'd just about given up on it after the third month of nearly daily application (except for the occasional day I forgot about it), when I started seeing a profound lightening. I'm now seeing continuing improvement, That stubborn spot is barely noticeable now, and I am hopeful it will soon disappear altogether. I withheld the fifth star only because the product takes so long to have any effect... perhaps an unfair complaint.

I got melasma from my pregnancy and then over the summer forgot to wear sunblock a couple times and I got significantly worse.When I read reviews I almost didn't buy this but decided it was worth it since it was so cheap and within a couple weeks have seen a drastic change. I wish I would've taken before photos but I didn't. :(It works so well though that in retrospect if I would've known I easily would've paid $100 for this.I stopped using it every morning and night so there is still a slight amount but not enough for anyone else to notice when before you couldn't miss it.I am so so happy to have found this and you should try it if you are considering it.

I have bought many skin products claiming to erase dark spots. I waited to review this as it takes time to work. I have a pretty heavy brown pigmented area on my left upper cheek likely from years of driving in the sun. I even had this area lazered off by my dermatologist with a warning to use sunscreen to prevent recurrence. Despite sunscreen, I developed the dark area around the lazered area and it looks worse than before lazering because now it is in the shape of a distinct crescent instead of the original patchy area. I've used this creme along with the night creme for about 2 months now and although I still have the dark area, it is a paler pink rather than dark brown. The sun spot on my hand is almost gone so it really does depend on the amount of melanin you have to work with. There are no negative effects that I have noticed such as dryness or irritation. The moisturizers soften my skin as well as regular good quality moisturizers. And, the price is really cheap for how long the creme is lasting.

So I used to use Porcelana night cream quite often when I was younger because I had severe discoloration on my stomach and this helped albeit I used it every single night for about 2 years. I have sensitive dry skin and I've used this on my face and have had no negative reactions but I use this about 2 times a week max on my face.

This is chalky and leaves white residue all over the face. Unfortunately, I didn't try it until my return window was closed, so I have to throw it out. I have used a lot of products with hydroquinone (the lightening agent) and this is the only one that I have had this problem with. They say there is sunscreen in it which may be the problem -- but then they don't tell you what the SPF is, so I would not wear it in the day-- and sunscreen as you sleep is bad for the skin. so an all around FAIL on this one! :(

I believe it is working, however there is an odd smell i don't like.I put it on when i know i won't see anyone.Most import, does it work? After 2 months I believe it is working.I am not sure how long you are supposed to use it or what happens if you stop.It says to discontinue if you see no improvement in 3 months

I have been using Porcelanna for years and it really does lighten the dark spots on my hands. I use it every night at bedtime, good hand cream. Very hard to find in local stores in SW Oregon.

The active ingredient in this cream was recommended by my dermatologist for lightening the dark spots on my face. I found this cream in Walgreen's but the price was better on Amazon, so I ordered it. After a few months of daily using it, I noticed the dark spots on my skin HAVE LIGHTENED.
