The Beardsley guys really know how to make the thing that makes a man manly feel amazing. Their shampoo is by far the best I have used in my beard, and it has an amazing sent to it. The conditioner works really well also. I personally like to finish my beard hygiene with some oil from grave before shave, but I have used Beardsley's lotion and it works well for sensitive skin under the beard as well. I recommend these guys to everyone I know starting their pursuit to become more manly by growing their facial hair. Who needs the fountain of youth when you can grow an awesome beard? And these guys know how to keep that beard staying classy. I recommend a shot of whiskey after using this product, which can also help to grow a bit more of your manhood.

I'd give it 3.5 if possible. It does a good job of conditioning and you get quite a lot for the money compared to Bluebeard's. I really, really hate the smell. To me it smelled like stale, over-buttered movie theater popcorn with a hint of vomit. Now maybe it's just me because on two separate occasions my wife made entirely unsolicited comments on how good it smells (which she usually doesn't do unless she really likes something). So perhaps I got a funky batch or my olfactory system just has a disagreement with it, but I think it really just boils down to preference. You either like it or you don't. All in all, I'd give it a 0 for smell, a 4 for performance, and a 4 for quantity/value. I will say that the smell doesn't linger after you rinse, so there's always that.

I was very impressed with this beard conditioner. I was very surprised - even better results than the one I regularly use and I thought that one worked great! This was even better. First use, I made a mistake of using a bit more than I should have - although it was still a tiny bit. So when using this, think small amount, then make it smaller. It lathers up pretty well and my beard has never been softer only after a few uses. Excellent conditioner! I use their beard shampoo as well so I am not sure if you have to use both to get good results or not but using both seems to be very effective.

I have used this product for several years but it is now 75% more expensive for the same 8 oz product. It used to be $11.95 but is now $20.95.

I've been using a standard conditioner for my beard for a while. I noticed a difference with this product after the second use. My beard has a much more pleasant texture, and both my husband and I enjoy the scent. I've also noticed a significant reduction in beard dandruff, a very welcome side effect. The scent is a muxture of beach and wilderness with hints of coconut and wildflowers. It's not at all feminine, in my opinion. It's a product to make beards softer, so I find it strange that other reviewers would complain about an "unmanly" fragrance. Mixed expectations, much? If you want to smell like a lumberjack, quit moisturizing and roll around in tree sap and dirt. Done.Great product. I will be a repeat customer.

This stuff is great. Keeps the beard soft and tame. Good smell and texture. Not great. Use it daily.

I was drawn to this product because it's a bit more reasonably priced in comparison to other beard conditioners I've tried. Unfortunately, my guess is this is a woman's hair conditioner that's being repackaged as beard conditioner. It has a fruity, flowery smell, and after a couple weeks use, it hasn't made my beard any noticeably softer.
