Good Idea...BUT
Appeared to be just what I was looking for as I was sick of getting punctures. Let's start by saying when you get them you think 'no way is that going on that wheel' but it will. How I did it was by taking the wheel off and with the help of some grease, some long handled screw drivers, some cable ties and plenty of elbow grease I got it on. Don't forget they are solid so you can't puncture them and they are rubber so will stretch. Initially things were great, but in a couple of months the outer 'tread' layer (here lies the problem) became brittle and cracked and split off the inner core. I bought more than one and used the first one as a tester. I plan to give them another chance but this time a couple of times a week I'll rub some grease into the tire to try to prevent it from cracking.

Persistence pays off
I fitted these with ordinary heavy duty tyre levers, and used 2 packs of 1 mm by 15 mm dowel pins to secure them. This size was a little loose. Other might like to try a 3 mm size.Once the pins have locked the tyre into the rim to start you off, work your way round the tyre until you need to use the levers. You'll need to use two at once - one to maintain the pressure and the other to push it onto the rim.Keep them fairly close together to apply the necessary force.I was able to fit these by myself reasonably quickly once I had acquired the dowel pins.
