Looking to save money this year my husband and I have decided to do the majority of our landscape work ourselves~ We have invested in lots of gardening tools; this being one of my favorites so far! It pulls the weeds up nearly effortlessly and it’s unique design allows me to do so without disrupting any of the nearby plants. Also without having to bend down or even touch the weeds with my bare hands for risk of poison ivy exposure.It can handle all sizes! I have yet to come across a scenario where I could not use my new weed puller.Unless the soil is really dry after a long heat wave ~Nothing a little watering camp fix however.crab grass is also easy to tackle.Very easy to use and came fully assembled.The handles are very smooth saving my hands from calluses. Solid and durable build construction~ I look forward to getting many years of use out of my new garden gadget. Worth every penny!

I have TONS of weeds, & was hoping to escape the constant bending.Pros: Easy to use.* Great for the big/mean weeds. I have some weeds with pickers on the sides, which this is perfect for. It twists them right out, & gets a lot of the root, to boot. It does a good job on big Dandelions, too, getting a lot more root than just tugging them out.* The plunger on the handle makes releasing the weed out of the tool easy, Yay.* The gloves & small tool seems like a minor freebie, but they're really quite good.I love the gloves, with plastic on the front, & breathable on the backs. Way better.The tiny crowbar tool is surprisingly helpful. Popped weeds out like nothing. Especially in dry dirt.Cons: Still a lot of bending.* The big tool leaves a substantial hole behind. Not quite a golf ball size, but pretty close.* Despite the plunger, you're eventually gonna have to go collect all the weeds you pull, & bending is part of the deal for that, so you are gonna bend a lot, even with the tools. (I rake first, then bend)* The large holes are a problem, if you have a lot of weeds. I had to bend down to shake off the dirt from the weeds, into all the holes, to try to fill them back in. More bending.Overall, I liked the big tool for the bigger, meaner weeds, but for small weeds, it's faster to use the little pry bar they gave with it. I found myself using that a lot more than the big one, & it just pries the weed out, without leaving a big hole behind. Just a quick shake of the weed, & tamp down the dirt.The included gloves are my new Go-to gloves, & I ordered some similar ones, after the first use. I'm hoping they'll be the same (they look the same). They're soooo much better than any garden gloves I've ever used. They fit well, allow me to feel what I'm doing, & keep my hands clean & dry, without getting all sweaty. I've done multiple days of weeding with them, just washing my hands while wearing them to clean up after I'm done, then I use them the next day. I've used them a lot, & am happy, but they will wear out soon, at the rate I'm going. I want more on hand when that happens.

Based on other reviews I bought this one over some of the cheaper options. I am so glad I did! My yard is clay mixed with rocks, and the beefy tines are holding up very well. It is very satisfying to use, pulls up the whole weed in one shot and ejects it into the waste bucket. I am getting addicted to pulling weeds now.

Liked not having to bend over. Good for spot weeding but not recommended for clearing large patches of weeds

This is very effiecent at doing it's job , and it saved my back. Its a new yard for me , former tenant was busy and the yard and rock disappeared under the weeds. This will make my job easier. How ever I did not receive the extra head.

I had one similar from a different company that broke within a few months. This is in a whole different league--should last my lifetime, grabs the deepest weeds and easily pulls them out. I'm madly in love with it. Just what I was hoping for.

Works perfectly, but you have to be gentle when you pop out the weed. If you hit the button too hard too many times the top comes off, releasing the spring, etc. It went back together very easily, and now I just occasionally tighten the screw top and all is good. Be aware that it works by removing a 1x1" cone of soil with the weed root. I shake it back out into the hole . . .

I was enjoying using the Colwelt Stand Up Weeder. After two hours of use, it fell apart. The mechanism for pushing the weeds away from the prongs unscrewed at the top and the spring and knob fell off. I tried to put it back together without success. Also, one of the gardening gloves came with a brownish-red stain on the finger, which I was just going to let go of. I could not find the Colwelt Company to contact a customer service rep. The address given is an Amazon Fulfillment Center. When looking for warranty information about a product, Amazon is not helpful when stating to contact the manufacturer without providing details. If I do not hear from anyone at Colwelt, I will be returning this item.

I was excited for this purchase. Being a new homeowner with a lawn I wanted an environmentally safe product that was easy to use. And this is it. Yes it does take out big chunks of grass along with the weed but I know I will continue to use it. It came exactly as described and with an extra knob for the top. The smaller tool is also very easy to use. Just have to make sure you have it up against the base of the weed. It does only remove the weed. Gloves are cute and fit me well. ( I am female and small hands)

Not as young as I used to be I was looking for something to use so I didn't need to bend or crouch when removing weeds. Also add always I was looking for great value.I have taken out at least 30 dandelions from the lawn using the longer tool and even several using the handtool for short periods.The package came with the 2 tools and gloves.Very impressed with the quality of the metal (carbon steel).And there was even a spare pusher knob.Very happy with my purchase.

I like the fact it works well, better than Fisker. It’s height means I know longer get a sore back from bending over. And I like the fact it is sooo light. So far best weed puller I have found to date.

Easy to use in damp soil (winter conditions), might be more difficult in harder packed soil. One hand grip has a small split and may come loose eventually, however can be replaced easily. Overall a good working unit that i can use standing up.

It is so good that I decided to write a review. It is the best Stand-up Weed Puller design, made out of steel instead of plastic or aluminium, it feels sturdy and solid in the hand, it cut through the ground like butter, and just push it to the ground, twist and pull. I was considering this Colwelt vs. the Gardena, but decided to buy Colwelt tool for half the cost of the Gardena. Extremely happy with the product given it is steel vs Gardena's Aluminium and plastic.
