this works better than anything else I've tried for a slow drain. Easy to use, not harsh to my skin. Pleasant odor.

So glad I watched the presentation on this product! It worked SO FAST! I used it in our bathtub where my daughters and granddaughters take baths here several times a week when they visit. They all have long hair. I also have long hair, and use this tub daily. I noticed the drain started running very slowly and getting backed up. I used Professor Amos Drain Cleaner, and I was Amazed at how fast it cleared the drain!! It worked exactly as advertised. So easy to use!! No bad smell like the other drain cleaners I have used in the past. The other popular drain cleaners smell awful, and you have to use the entire bottle and leave overnight! With the Professor Amos Drain Cleaner I only used 8 oz., and went to visit my Mother for about an hour. When I came home I heated two cups of water in my microwave and poured it down the drain. I did another two cups just to be sure. I turned the water on in the tub and the drain was so clear it ran right out! I'm going to take some to my Mother's house to clear out her kitchen sink drain that keeps stopping up. She has used the "other" drain cleaners, and they do not clear it. I HIGHLY recommend this product.Thank you, Professor Amos for creating such a wonderful product!!!

Excellent product worked as expected

Purchased this product because reviews said it was safe and effective. Glad I did! Unclogged bathroom sink drain after using competitive product but I just thought that it could drain faster. Used Professor Amos drain cleaner (following directions) and was pleasantly surprised when the water drained as if the pipes were new! The "safe on the pipes" claim adds to my satisfaction. I think the price is a little high and that is the only reason I did not give it five stars. Just to be clear, the price withstanding, the results ARE five stars!

Several years ago, I had a sink that was draining very slowly. I had tried other kinds of "big-name" drain cleaners, but they didn't do much...and one night, I saw an ad for this SuperFast (maybe on QVC), and I ordered some...not expecting much...but...it worked. Cleared the sink drain over night.More recently, for several months now, my shower drain has been getting slower and slower and slower...until I finally got tired of standing in water up to my ankles every morning. I came here to Amazon, and have to admit I was confused by all the various Amos products, but finally decided that SuperFast was what I needed...so I ordered it.But it still took a few more months for me to actually get around to trying it...over this last weekend. I poured in the recommended amount in the middle of the afternoon...(there was no standing water) then I just left it until the next morning. Got up, ran some hot water into the drain slowly...and glug glug glug...the water was actually flowing down the drain.I let the hot water run for several minutes, and now when I take a shower, the water goes down the drain just as it should.I have to admit that I was surprised...in a good way.

Both my bathroom sink and shower drain have been clogging for a long time. The typical drain cleaners from the hardware store along with plunging help partially for a while, but this time my sink got so clogged that just washing my hands would fill the sink halfway and it would drain at a trickle, so I knew I needed to try something different. I researched and decided upon this product after watching their video. Last night, I poured one cup of the thick liquid into my sink drain and let it sit overnight (leaving the bathroom window open a crack to allow the smell out even though it is cold outside). After breakfast, I filled a large pitcher with hot tap water and poured it into the bathroom sink. I must say, I was completely blown away by the fact that the water drained instantly! My sink hasn't worked like that in years!After the pitcher was empty, I turned the hot water on, which takes a bit to get upstairs into that tap, and continued to flush the pipe to try to get the smell of the product out. The smell is most definitely lighter than the smell of the other drain products I've tried, but I have a sensitive nose, so could still smell it every time I ran the water until it was flushed out enough. I cleaned my sink with unscented natural all-purpose cleaning spray in case the smell was in the sink itself, but it was in the pipes. It did disappear after flushing it for many minutes, but it is definitely worth it to have the water go down the drain immediately!Tonight, I will unclog my shower drain with this product and I'm looking forward to my feet not being in a pool of water every time I shower. (I didn't want to do both drains at once in my small bathroom due to the smell.)My best guess at the cause of my clogs is a buildup of Aquaphor (for healing tattoos), Advanced Silicone Gel (for diminishing scars), soap, hard water, and hair. This product cut through it very well! I highly recommend it.I am using this on a septic system, so hopefully it is safe like the manufacturer says!ETA: My tub now drains better than it has in years thanks to this product!

My mom swears by Professor Amos. She usually buys off the shopping network channel and was so disappointed when they sold out--she came here. It is a bit more expensive but my mom says it is worth it and refuses to use anything but. We went to the Miami Design & Remodeling show this past weekend and Professor Amos had a booth. My mom made a beeline to the presenter to tell him how much she loves this stuff. I personally used the drain cleaner and it unclogged my bathroom drain on the first try! I shed more than a Husky and my daughter has hair that reaches to her lower back. So, just imagine HOW much hair goes down the drain on wash days. My mom uses the Shock-It cleaner on EVERYTHING else and loves how it's strong but not abrasive.
