Works great and easy to set up! I am very happy to share my experience.
This is a small but very effective gadget, worked just as described. Highly recommended! I brought this Wi-Fi repeater to use in my house. I used to have pretty weak coverage in my bedroom on the second floor. Thanks to the repeater now I get 5-bar signal with a pretty stable internet. The video streaming is very smooth on my iPad.The setup was quite simple; it took me only about 5 minutes with my desktop computer. It was pretty intuitive and straightforward. Hereby I'd like to share my experience in case anyone need it:1. Plug the repeater into a wall outlet and switch it on.2. Open the network settings on the computer, select the Wi-Fi network "Wireless-N".3. Open a web browser, type in the IP address provided in the user manual.4. Log in with the user name and password both as "admin".5. Select "Repeater" on the software wizard field.6. Select your router's Wi-Fi from a list of networks. Change the repeater's SSID (Wi-Fi name) to a new name. Type in the password of your router's Wi-Fi. Click to submit.7. Go back to the computer's network settings, select the new Wi-Fi name you left, enter the router's Wi-Fi password and click to connect. Done!Again, great product and very useful. The reasonable price is also a plus. I am very pleased with my purchase.

It works as described!
Extremely easy to set up. Just follow instructions. Easily doubles your wifi coverage. In an area of my house where I got 1 or 2 bars, I now get full 5. Works without a problem more than 90% of the time. It's wifi signal appears under the same name as your base router. To most devices it would be indistinguishable, in some cases some users might want a choice between which source to connect to, the base or the extender. I am not able to do this on N300. Sometimes, in some areas of my house, my devices connect to a weaker signal from the base router when a slightly stronger from the extender is available perhaps because the wifi from the extender has the same name. When this happens i.e. that my devices cannot see the extenders signal and therefore, connect to the base routers week signal, I go and restart the extender and then everything works fine again. This happens about once or twice every week. I've been using it for 3 weeks (at the time of this review).

Not so bueno
We have to keep resetting it. We have this placed in a hallway about 20 ft from the router (that is mounted pretty close to the ceiling for whatever reason) and it works and then says we have service and yet we aren't connected to anything....our phones & tablets say no connection yet this lil sucker says full bars all the way! I dunno what to do and don't have the strength to keep fussing with it. Shouldve just bought the $100 one and been done with it @ 3 minutes.... Good thing I tested this at home. I'd be very mad if I took this out of town for work and it didn't work.

Disappointed
First, the extender was quite difficult to set up. The instructions had miniscule type making it very hard to read and when I used a magnifing glass the directions were not easy to follow. I did email them and even though it was a Saturday someone got back to me that day with different instructions. Those didn't work, after another email a different set of instructions arrived which were much clearer and I was able to set the extender up. The extender helped a bit, but it was still a slow, weak connection in the area of my house that needed it. I also tried it on the router setting connecting it with the under the house cable directly to the main modem/router and that was slow as well. I will send the product back for a refund.

Works a lot better than the Nikon wireless extender I used to you
Works a lot better than the Nikon wireless extender I used to you. My signal strength is stronger and the connection is faster than it was when I had the older extender. And unlike the other one, I haven't yet had any problems with drop signals. I live in an old house with solid wood walls, so I needed this extender to get Wi-Fi in parts of my house where the main router's signal strength was low. I mainly use it for my XBOX ONE, and the connection is much better, improving my online gaming experience.

Exactly what I needed
This is a nice little device. Setup in repeater mode was a breeze, and it seems to have really helped with my signal issues. I live in the basement level of a town house, and the router is in a 3rd floor bedroom. I had been getting frustrated trying to stream MLB.tv baseball games - they had become practically unwatchable. Using the handy little Wifi Analyzer app from the Google Play store, I measured signal strength at my computer of approximately -75 to -85 dBm, which is just OK. I also used the app to find the best place in my apartment to install the extender, and I am now getting roughly -60 dBm at my computer, which is pretty darned good. I just finished watching a game, with very few streaming interruptions. Recommended without reservation.

Nice product
I had a problem initially with getting it set up correctly, until I got their e-mail with a you tube attachment in it. I followed it and got mine up and working, renamed and with security. Try that before you give up. Also even though you tube video is for mac you can still use it for android, I did and am happy with result. Another thing I forgot to mention is now I have internet in my garage, well over 70 feet, maybe 80 and that is a big bonus instead of constantly running back in the house if I am using you tube to work on something or just streaming sirius. This little guy is the boss.

Easy and Effective solution for holes in your wifi
Very easy to set up in repeater mode and works very well. I tried to set it up to allow me to plug in a microcell device because we get lousy cell service where we live. Well, apparently you can't do that. I sort of suspected that would be the case. Once I was done experimenting, I couldn't get back into the setup screen so I had to hit the reset button and start over. That worked fine and I was able to set all parameters that I wanted to adjust. I used this with an Archer C9 router. What an awesome router!!!! It's so powerful that I really didn't need the repeater but now I get a great signal even in my back yard.
