Midwest is the best.
All Midwest tools are slightly heavy, even the red handled siding snips, but they do the job well. I usually wear a toolbelt and then I have a Klein bucket to keep the heavier items near me.I've been buying Midwest for many years and will continue!

Best pair of offset tongs I've had. Used for standing seam, metal roofing and fabrication.

I probably got lucky
Several reviews (with pics) have mentioned or shown how these (primarily handles) have uneven manufacturing/quality control. I have a co-worker who also bought from Amazon and got a pair where the handles were quite crooked. My pair came about 90% even so I'm pretty satisfied with them compared with the bad pics and my co-worker's.I don't know why, but I find these single hinge tongs easier to use than the ones with dual/compound hinges.They do the job pretty well and have held up (I've seen an old-timer take a similar but different brand up a ladder instead of a hammer; I've followed his example a few times) with no signs of damage after some 9 months.
