Great product, Mine had an issue.
Product itself is great. I work with the GH4 and with this cable I can use mics and other audio line in without the horrible white noise the GH4 is shamefully known for (Love the camera BTW). The reason I give it 4 stars is mine started hissing when plug moved and I need to touch or actually press the plug towards the mic/line out socket .Three important things to clear - A. I bought it from a different seller then it is sold by now. B. I contacted the previous seller (Kellards) which responded VERY fast and directed me to amazon (the order was "fulfilled by amazon") C. Amazon immediately refunded me with a gift card - which I'm going to use to buy this product again.

Does what it should, build quality a little meh for the price
It pads my Rode Wireless Go II enough go record live music off a standard mixer, but for the price tag, there are a few abnormalities with the build quality. The ease with which the outer casing unscrews off the end of the plug is a little annoying, I've had it start happening accidentally a time or two. And the crimping looks a little sloppy and like it was done at an angle. Attenuator or not, this is a $30+ ~5 inch cable, if should be a little better put together.

Only product that converts live level to mic level, works great!
Only product I've been able to find ANYWHERE that converts a line level signal into a mic level signal. I use this for sending a direct output from my audio interface to a mic input on a camcorder, to record video of live performances with CD-quality audio. Works like a charm! If you try the same thing, just make sure you get an extension cable that is properly shielded. (the first extension cable I got was a cheapo, and didn't work for this reason)

Fixed a stubborn problem
Fixed my overmodulated audio coming from a mixing board into a small audio recorder that one of my clients insists I use for their work. Good thing as I was thinking that my $2k mixing board was broken and was looking into buying a replacement as the warranty had just expired. Will definitely buy again if needed. Highly recommended!

Great item, pricey but it works
I mix the sound coming in to my 5d2 w a Tascam DR100 . That camera and my 6d are not great for audio recording so i use the Tascam to record outside the camera and bring it in w/this cable. The audio is incredible. Price is high but it gets the job done. Will probly buy another one as a backup.
