Great quality for a decent price
I intended to buy a human skeleton model for anatomical study but was put off by the cost of a life-size, quality human skeleton model which would cost you about $200 or more. I looked into less costly options as I don't have that much money to spend on a model -- and this was just what I wanted. I did want a life size model, but after getting this 1/2 life size model, I was surprised by just how accurate the details were. This model's smaller size was not at the expense of its anatomical accuracy. The small size also made the model very portable and versatile to get a very close view of the bones and their contour.Advice: For basic anatomical study, say for a college/high school anatomy and physiology course, then I would recommend this model due its detail. The smaller size may make the finer bones harder to see than a life-size model, however. Because of this, if your goal is to become a doctor, therapist, or an occupation that must work closely with bones, then I would say go for the life-size model if you can afford it. For beginners of anatomical study then I would say that this skeleton would be the best bet for you: the price and the quality is right.Additional notes: Model is overall sturdy and easy to put together. Model does not awkwardly lean forward or wobble on the stand. Stand is sturdy and looks good; the model can move 360 degrees easily on the stand. The floating ribs on the model may be FRAGILE: one set of the floating ribs have broken off upon arrival but were easy to glue back on with gorilla glue ... the other set of floating ribs were very sturdy so this may have just been an issue in delivery/packaging.

Good Anatomical Skeleton
Good product. Only thing that I found a bit strange is that the jaw hinges in reverse...the front teeth remain fixed and form the hinge point while the jaw bone joint moves away from the skull.

Worth the purchase
Looking at price of other anatomical models, this one is within student budget and surprisingly detailed for its size. When you study along with textbook, I think its more than enough to understand visually what the anatomy is.Things that can be improved- Sternum, hands and feet are immoveable.(But still detailed to some extent).

Best anatomy study tool!!
I bought this because I am taking massage therapy and wanted one to study the bony landmarks and muscle origins and insertions. For the most part its very well designed and formed. Its got majority of bony landmarks right down to things like the linea aspera and pubic symphysis. It is missing a few things however such as the Dens and hyoid bone. Its not a huge deal but those are important bones. Other than that you can take the top of the skull off, unfortunately no brain though lol. But it is also very easy to move around and put into different positions which is really important. Overall a great product, well worth the price and would recommend!!**UPDATE**Over time the elastic bands got weaker with use so the arms and legs aren't as resistant in the joints anymore, also the elbows often get twisted around and so not as easy to move around. Though overall Luna Clarisse has endured a ton of man handling, various experiments, long hours of holding candy and yet still holding strong and in good condition.Since being out of school she now makes a great decoration for Christmas and Halloween ๐
