Flan Caramel syrup . 22 oz bottle

I love flan, but never have enough caramel syrup that comes with it. I have tried other syrups - one worst than the other - never even close what true caramel syrup should taste with flan When I received my order, I immediately noticed the deep dark color of the syrup in the bottle, which is what true caramel syrup should look like at first glance. The next day I tried it with my Costco purchased flan. I immediately realized that this syrup is so thick that water needed to be added. After a few experiments, I narrowed it down to 2/3 water, one third syrup - to make it absolutely perfect to my taste. Thus not only is it the best caramel syrup you can ever ask for if you use it for flan, but the bottle contents is drastically magnified for far more usage then I had expected. Truly an incredible authentic gourmet product!

This stuff is overpriced for cooked sugar, but it's better than cooking it myself. The 6lb/$20 bargain I tried is not the real thing. It tastes like molasses and I already had plenty if molasses.

This works so well for flan! I have never gotten the syrup right with cooking sugar, so this is a great shortcut that always works.

It was the first time I had to make a Flan. I tried making my own caramel and ended with burns on my hands. There had to be an easier way! Bingo ! Scrolling through Amazon I found this jewel. Now. I make not one but two flans at a time. This product tastes great don’t go overboard with the pouring! It’s not real sweet!
