OK The difference is very slight. The Hellmann's has a little bit of something.....more. Ingrediants were to same when I made my comparison. I noticed that sometimes the oil base is different. on the internet which led to my curious purchase of Hellmann's. I'm on the West Coast so only Best Foods Mayo is sold here. When I use up 3 large jars of Hellmann's, I will happily return to Best Foods, but now, when there are both kinds of mayo in my frig, I reach for the Hellmann's. There are a lot of mayonnaises out there. New ones come, old ones go. Hellmans mayonnaise is the classic and best surviving the test of time. My wife would divorce me if I bought another brand and me her if she did the same.Tastes the best, good size, doesn’t separate, super creamy and smooth, is not yellow or off white.You probably know all this so just put it on Subscribe and save and forget. We get 3 jars every month for a family of 4 who all love mayonnaise. You may not need as much.

First, I have had shipping issues at times. I've read reviews that Amazon doesn't honor your sale if it's defective. NOT SO. Had one order that was damaged in shipping (Hellmann's jars busted open in transit) and Amazon notified me, refunded my payment, and had a replacement in transit before it was even suppose to arrive. Wow! Plus, I've never had anything that they didn't take care of. Sometimes you have to go the extra mile and talk to a customer service agent, but they have always taken care of me....ALWAYS!Now, onto the product. I was never a big mayonnaise fan. I have previously preferred Miracle Whip. Still do for some things but I now love Hellman's. It's the real stuff. Was reading something recently that said that if your product says "mayo" then it has something else in it or they left something out. Not sure how true that is but I'll say that Hellmann's never disappoints.I get 3 jars at one time and use Subscribe and Save. It's convenient and cost-saving. Doing this I'm saving at least $1/per jar over Hellmann's in my local stores. If you like mayonnaise, then this is the best choice.

I have been eating Best foods Mayo since I was a Kid over 60 years ago in HAWAII . We were poor family to where at times we would EAT MAYO and Steam rice nothing else I move to CA I bought BEST FOODS MAY THATS THE ONLY MAYO MY FAMILY ATE, but about a couple years ago I NOTICE the BEST FOODS MAYO COLOR CHANGE FROM A CREAM COLOR to WHITE and THE TASTE WAS NOT THE SAME so talked to my neighbors they said yes something CHANGE THEY RECOMMEND HELLMANS that's what they bought back East so I looked it up on AMAZON and WE FINALY FOUND THE MAYONAISE I REMEMBER EATING WHEN I WAS KID. WE buy HELLMANS THROUGH AMAZON the LOCAL STORES STILL SELL BEST FOOD MAYO MORE WHITE IN COLOR AND NOT THE SAME TASTE!!! WHY DID BEST FOOD CHANGE THEIR COLOR AND TASTE??

My neighbor loves Hellmann's while I prefer Best Foods but she can't find her favorite anywhere in town. We were grocery shopping together and she looked all over the condiment section and said "Nope, none here." I didn't tell her I'd look on Amazon, but I did just that and ordered it in seconds. When it arrived, I called her to come over for a cup of coffee and handed the box to her immediately. I wish you could have seen the look on her face. It was Christmas and I was Santa Claus. Thanks!

I am a single person and have to eat 3 jars of mayo in 60 days. Yeah, right.
