Fire Glass for Fire Pit, 10lb - 1/2" Reflective Glass Rocks for Fireplace - High Heat Resistance for Propane & Natural Gas (Copper)

Was skeptical about buying fire glass for our recently built fire pit, however this one was on sale (still pricey, even on sale). I wasn't sure about the color or how much I would need, or how it would look! Was it really going to look that much better than the black pumice which was lots cheaper?Wow!! I am so glad I ordered it!!!!!! It makes the fire pit spectacular, day or night! It sparkles and is a perfect color for my patio. Warning: People with small children should be aware that there are all sorts of warnings with the fire glass about it being very sharp and can cut, also about it popping if wet. We have not experienced any problems and we are empty nesters with grandkids old enough to be careful. It looks beautiful and the service was terrific. They delivered it the next day! Would definitely recommend...

I bought this based on the reviews. The product arrived just as described. As some people noted there are small shards of glass at the bottom of the bag. MAKE SURE TO USE GLOVES! I did heed that warning and I'm glad I did. After clearing out all of the lava rock I placed the fire glass into the pit. Again taking advise from other reviews I placed the glass I did not pour the glass out. Once I was getting to the bottom of the bag, yes, there is glass dust and shards of glass. I stopped putting anymore into the pit and just discarded the bag. I love it, it looks so much nicer than the lava rock and so far I am very happy with my choice. I did keep the lava rock just in case :) but as of now it's working beautifully.

Perfect! We left a small layer of the lava rock that came with our fire pit in place to allow for air flow (these small pieces of glass don't allow for the kind of air flow needed to maintain a good flame otherwise, but that can be said for ANY fire pit glass, and isn't a fault of this particular product). With that said, the color, reflection, and price were all spot on. Similar glass at our local big box home improvement center is much more expensive and is only available in larger size quantities, which we didn't need.

We mingled these stones with the rocks that came with our fire pit and they let off a beautiful, radiant glow when lit. Very happy with this product. It lived up to it's promise.

"The fire glass arrived on time and in good condition. It needed to be washed but I had expected that. Exactly what I was looking for. I did use about 5 pounds of cheaper lava rock under it as 10 pounds was not quite enough to cover the gas coil. Even without the fire bowl lite the glass looks like little gemstones in the sun and then when the fire is on....just beautiful. Great buy."

These are so beautiful. We bought this because the clean up for real wood was too much and our house would always smell Smokey for awhile even though we have our chimney inspected and cleaned! My in laws have glass in their fire place and it’s so gorgeous. We did not buy enough (only 10 pounds) and it does not cover enough. I would say we need 30-40 pounds total to cover well? See picture! But what is covered is so beautiful with the fire. It’s so much easier with the gas hook up and these glass fire pieces.

The size of the stones are great. They reflect the color well in my fire pit. I really like the size of the stones compared to some of the others I have bought. I would buy them again for sure!

I was not impressed, so I returned it without opening. I'll give it 3 stars to be fair, as there was nothing really wrong with it, but I don't think it was as advertised. While there were some 1/2 inch and larger pieces, the majority looked like very small pieces. The crystals came in a plain plastic bag - hence no presentation whatsoever. No instructions, no name, just "generic" glass. As such, it was overpriced. I wound up ordering from another manufacturer, and am glad that I did. Presentation was much better, the value was better and mostly the pieces were consistently larger. I would not buy again or recommend this product.
