Works great, have patience
I used this to strip a bicycle frame. This product worked well for my needs. I used a wire wheel brush on my drill to scuff most of the surface before applying the remover. I feel like that helped a lot. The paint came off in the areas that I did not scuff also, but it took a bit more scraping. I layered it on thick and then covered it with plastic wrap and let it sit overnight. A lot of the paint scraped off easily with one stroke of the scraper, other areas were a little more stubborn. Overall I am happy with how this worked. Take your time applying the gel and covering your project, then allow the product time to work and you will be happy with the outcome to.

Magic Eraser for Bad DIY Ideas
Only thing more exciting for me than learning you you can paint your bathroom sink is learning you can undo having painted your bathroom sink.A few years ago I did a spray enamel paint with a primer on a builder grade cultured marble (?) type sink. The sink was grayish and I thought it looked a little yellowed and I wanted a nice bright white, so I decided to paint it. It was winter of 2020 and I had been inside for a WHILE by that point and that’s the best explanation I’ve got for why I thought this would be a good idea. That and Pinterest. The best it ever looked was “meh,” and it got worse and worse over time. Adhered great, but it absorbed stains and the primer made things bumpy and it just never worked out like I’d hoped. Maybe I’m just not good at sink painting. Who can say. Very glad now that I decided to go the primer route instead of the sanding route before painting, because this stuff is bringing the paint right up like magic and it looks just like it did before painting underneath.I got the bundle with the gel and the laminated paper to put on over the gel, but for the small sink I’m working on, saran wrap has worked better. More flexible. It’s about half done—the bowl of the sink and the parts behind the faucet are going to be kind of annoying just logistically, but by and large it’s going really well. Very minimal scraping needed. Just paint gel on, cover it with plastic, leave it for some hours (I’ve gone as long as like 12 but have also had success in 6), and it just . . . comes off. Amazing.Tl;dr: probably don’t paint your sink, but if you do and you hate it, this can help.

Item worked satisfactorily, yet not as well as expected.
Works well for the first 2or 3coats, may take another application for more.

Use plastic, a brush and a 6” roller
This is a fantastic product when used correctly. No, I do’t work for the company. Yes, it is a very thick product that is hard to get out of the container and apply evenly. You need to put the cap on and tap it upside down a couple times to get the product to squeeze out. When it’s almost empty, you need to cut the container open to use the last bit. With a brush it spreads like vasaline. I stripped an old safe from 1920 with many coats of paint on it and I got to bare metal on the first try. I squirted a golf ball size of product into a bowl and used a 2” brush to slather the product on. I took a 6” roller to even the product out and quickly repeated. I then took a piece of plastic (the thin cheap stuff they use for painting) and pressed it to product to remove any air. After a couple hours, I pulled the plastic off where I wanted to work and used a razor scraper to remove the paint. I use a razor bc it’s flat not bc it’s sharp and the product came off like a dream. The “drippings” do make a mess so put some plastic down to make clean up easier. When the razor gets gummed up, use a wire brush to clean it off. The product doesn’t smell like aircraft paint remover so you can use it in your garage out of the sun. You have to use the 6” roller quickly or else the paint will peal off onto the roller.

Terrible product
This is a horrible product. It is thick and goopy, impossible to put on smoothly. And it dries quickly. It was not put on in a warm or sunny place. They suggest to leave it on for 1 to 24 hours. I’m not sure how a person would be able to leave it on that long as it doesn’t stay wet as they suggest it needs to be for very long. And then trying to take it off was a real pain. I left it on for a couple of hours on a thin coat of Lacquer. It was sticky and goofy and impossible to remove smoothly. I would not recommend this product to anyone.I have done lots of furniture refinishing in your past and thought I would give this a try as I had seen. Other people had good success with it. They must work for the company!

Just great, not exceptional
Very low odor. If you are more sensitive to odor, it is excellent for you, but it is not the strongest paint remover. I had to use it several times to make it more effective, using more product.
