A month in and no signs of leakage.
I used this kit to plug a hole caused by a GIANT nail near the edge of the tread on a Firestone Destination 2 A/T tire mounted on a Jeep Cherokee Trailhawk that a repair shop said they couldn't help with (there wasn't enough room to add their internal flat patching material). They told me to take it to a "Ma and Pay" shop. I took it to my home shop instead, and hit up Amazon for the equipment! The included tools are EASY to use, and the instructions leave zero room for error. Happy to say that a month later, this repair is holding fast without any signs of leakage on over 1k miles of driving.

Good kit for the money
This is a very good made kit heavy duty, and every thing you need to plug your tire. Repaired mine in the driveway with no issues

Harder than advertised, but worked on the first try
The kit was effective, and I would buy it again; but it wasn't quite was was implied. As some Q&A questions have mentioned, this kit doesn't come with pliers (which the instructions imply it should have).I also found the kit to be somewhat difficult to use, but that's just because the initial leak in my tire was too small. It was a pin-prick leak, losing about 10psi / week. With this size of a leak, I could fit the probe in, let alone the patch. I ultimately used a drill to slightly enlarge the hole, and then used the probe to make enough room for the patch; and this required a lot more physical strength than I would have expected. But one the patch was in, it appears to have worked immediately. It's now been 5 days, and the tire doesn't seem to have lost any pressure. In patching the tire, I used one of the ten patches, so presumably I'm set for quite a while. But otherwise, I would happily buy this patch kit again.

Great except one thing
Everything is great in this kit except the insertion tool. The plug holder is a pretty thin piece of wire that can bend easily. It's good they included an extra. The reamer is beefy and works good. No issues with the plugs.

Great value! Easy to use.
Everything you need to plug a tire. Equipment is great quality and cost efficient. It is definitely worth it if you have the physical strength to plug a tire. That’s right, you need a certain level of strength to use this tool. If you’re able to position yourself over the area being plugged and push down that is helpful. Just an FYI. I gave 4 stars for sturdiness since the plug pin bent a little when in use but other than that it got the job done.

Saved a bundle
Got a screw in the tire this past weekend. I took it to Costco to get it patched.Waited for 2 hours. They then refused, sighting that the tire is going bald.BTW, the other 3 tires are still in great shape. But I switched out the Spare to be used as regular, and was going to use that screwed tire as Spare. They wanted me to purchase a new set of tires about $1k. I reluctantly agreed. But then, they told me they cannot do it the same day, and that i have to make a reservation for a different day. After waited for 2 hours, no repair, and no I was flaming.....So I searched in Amazon, found this tire repair kit....it has just arrived about 1 hour ago.Super easy peasy. 15 mins of patch work, 10 mins of air pumping... My tire is back baby, and it is going straight to the spare tire rack. Save myself $1000.Swear I will never go back to Costco for tires. Pain in the neck.
