Most of the cost of this cargo liner probably went into taking the time to custom-cut the pieces and heat-seal them together for a good fit. The material itself is thinner than I would have expected, and is not lined with any non-slip material to keep it in place against the vehicle's stock carpeting. Single ply plastic, about the thickness of a cheap cover for your backyard cook grill.Nonetheless, the liner gets a 4-star because it fits well and keeps dog fur and outdoor dirt from the carpets. There's a mesh insert that locates right over the RDX sub-woofer on the passenger inside rear cargo area, allowing more sound output.There's also a design feature that adapts the cover to the folding seats in the RDX, so that you may leave the cover in place while putting down one or both of the rear seat backs.If you actually haul messy stuff and plan to keep your vehicle a while, this is probably worth the money. I would have rated it higher if the material were thicker or more substantial in order to get prolonged use out of it. I'm not sure this will hold up long-term.

Love this! Very carefully thought out and super functional. It only took about 5 minutes to install and it has remained in place ever since (about 6 weeks so far). I use my RDX to transport many things. Despite moving seats up and down and things sliding around, the cover remains almost perfectly in place. Once in awhile, I'll need to tuck in the flap at the back of the seat, but even if I don't, it doesn't look sloppy. And while it covers and protects the upholstery, it also gives easy access to needed features (tie downs; speakers; car seat hooks; etc.). I paired this with the hard plastic cargo tray and cargo net. The three work great together to give me all the protection and function I need.
