This is a simple thing; but when you need to plug one more thing into that power strip this is the ticket.

Terrific for when I need an extension from an outlet box or a power bar.I bought these for enabling running a cord up with a slight angle and found they are a tremendous help when adding to a power bar so I can use more of the outlets. Nice quality product. Glad I bought more than I need at the moment. They come in handy.Also have multiple outlets next to a shelf where I charge Kindles, iPhones, digital camera batteries, etc. and now I don't have to have long cords messing things up.

I didn't register in my head, but the picture of the product does make it very plain: When plugged into a receptacle, the cable exits on the top! This works great on receptacles that are upside down, but those are usually upside down because they are controlled by a wall switch. To avoid the bending stresses on the cable and the twisting stresses of the prongs, and of the receptacle, I may just have to turn the receptacle upside down. After that, this little outlet extension will work great.It is a neat product and I am glad I made the purchase.

Stiffer than expected. Really versatile. I like the ability to plug in twice: my computer charger and cell phone charger. And, it's so small it easily fits into my backpack without crowding anything else out.

The cord really needs to come out the side not the front/back as it gets in the way of the next plug on the strip just like the the power block I bought them to mitigate.

This thing is great for getting an extra outlet. I'm a professional guitar player. This is perfect for me to take up one outlet in our power strip for my amp and pedalboard.

Perfect for what I needed -- a short extension tap that opened up an additional outlet. The location I am using this for is too tight for a typical 3 outlet medium duty tap. This fits the bill nicely.

Good quality cord for a specific need of branching off the top of the socket. There are other choices that a probably better for a normal power strip, if you plug into anything other than the top socket you will cover the one above.
