Don't Pay the Dealer!!! Save your money here!!!!
We have a 2014 GMC Terrain. One night the check engine light came on so I went to autozone to check it out and he read the codes P0013 & P0014 he also printed out the cost for the parts I needed. I looked at the price and smiled because I new it was overpriced so I checked Amazon and low and behold here it was over $20 cheaper and it came with both. I did do some research online yo make sure I ordered the right thing. I came across this which is the "Solenoid Actuator" in short it provides timing. I also came across the "Position Sensor" which he recommended be replaced. There are 2 for this specific vehicle. I went ahead and I ordered them as well. Now I want you to keep in mind as I write this I am not mechanically inclined whatsoever!!! It took my wife and I roughly and hour to change put the intake and exhaust solenoids.... meanwhile you're local mechanic or dealer quotes $300 to $600 for this fix.... Now I'm no genius but something doesn't sound right, either that or I'm in the wrong line of work. Anyway I say that to say this.. it is very easy to replace and take little to no effort. Save your money and DIY. The part itself is nice and heavy feels and looks better than the OEM one we pulled. Hopefully it's more reliable but only time will tell. It has cleared my check engine light and has made me very happy to this point. I will wait a few days before I return the position sensor just in case, but I think they are fine since it does just that "detect the position of the solenoid" and cleared the code. I highly recommend this product if it fits your vehicle or if you have a Terrain as well.*UPDATE* 2/22/2019So it's been a few months and the car has been running strong ever since the swap to these. No issues and most importantly no check engine light. I would definitely buy this again and recommend to others looking for this part.

Easy to install
I found the product reccommened on a video teaching me about the issue i ordered it. It came in 6 days before estimated date I installed on April 29th the error codes went away and I haven't had a issue since it's been 2 weeks now. Definitely way better price then buying in town

Perfect fit. Quick install. Saved $450!
My 2012 Chevy Equinox started to have a rough idle and the check engine light was on. After stupidly spending too much to have the codes given to me (note to self: go to Autozone, they do it for free.), a google search and YouTube video suggested replacement of these two sensors. Ordered the sensors, got them next day. It took me about an hour to replace mostly because I am not all that great at mechanical things. No special tools needed. Car runs great now and check engine light reset itself the next day! Parts were a perfect fit. Auto shop wanted $500 to replace these.
