Q: does assembely requried?

Yes they require assembly and painting as well. Remember these are models, and especially models of troops they have very small parts that require careful removal from the trees that they are attached to. In the course of painting them I would get a good book on German uniforms (OSPREY BOOKS) to use as a guide. Another thing, take your time the particular model you are looking at will not be finished in a day. Good Luck.

No you need to paint them yourself.An Airbrush is very handy to have when model building.Good luck.

No the arms and legs do not move.
