I anxiously awaited the release of this book as I'm an American herbalist and have followed Wood's work for quite some time. In servicing a chronically ill community I had found myself constantly bumping into the workings of the ECM and notated that it needed more attention. I've been educating myself over the last several years in regards to it and it's changed my entire practice. It has been refreshing to see all the things I've been reading and researching being pulled into a concise explanation of the importance of the ECM and then applying it to herblism. He really knocked it out of the park with this one! I suspect all of holistic medicine will have to embrace this recognition of the ECM in order to address the many varied illnesses arising out of it's disruption.

Simply a must read for all types of health care providers. (But only if you care about your patients/clients. )

I love books which move us closer to an accurate understanding of nature, ourselves l, and the universe. This book definitely moves us closer.

I love the title and started to read as soon I received it but realize is just too much scientific terms. The book is a masterpiece on backing up holistic health methods.
