These are my favorite shape wear as I have purchased a few over the years. 5'4, 170lb, purchased the XL. (Have purchased a size L in the past when I was about 20lb lighter.)

I like how these seem to be less thick around the thigh area than other Spanx.

I recently had stomach surgery and was directed by my Dr. to purchase a "Spanx" supporter. This product is comfortable, soft and provides adequate support needed while healing, once on. However it is tough to get on by yourself (mainly because of surgery recovery pain and movement limitations) so it does require assistance to get on. The HUGE problem with this (hence the ONE STAR rating) is the crotch opening is IMPOSSIBLE to use to urinate. The over lapping material does not allow a proper opening, therefore it's a constant mess every time you have to go to the bathroom. I ended up cutting out the whole crotch area to more effectively use. The material should not be overlapping in that area, it should provide an opening. Again this is the sole reason for a one star rating, but it happens to be so important during post surgery healing to not take this tight supportive product off and on throughout the day. In addition, without surgery, I could not imagine this product worn under a beautiful outfit and trying to go to the bathroom.

I have been wearing spanx for years! And I have to say I had high hopes for this garment! Even though I love the color and the size was correct, the sticky band idea simply DOES not work! I should have stick with the one that actually has a waist band; this is not a real spanx product but probably a knock off! IT ROLLED DOWN FROM THE VERY FIRST TIME I WEAR IT AND CONTINUES ALL DURING THE DAY AS I WEAR IT! Almost cutting off my circulation! Soo embarrassing and UNCOMFORTABLE ! I’m so dissatisfied! A waste of my money! Never again!

It has a firm hold and really helps to shape the body. It did roll down a bit, but not until about 4 hours, several dances and a lot of walking passed. This is a very well-made garment.

This item fit great and was extremely comfortable. So comfortable that I forgot I had it on until it was time for a bio break. I was afraid it would roll and once I ensured it was laying smooth, I didn’t have any problems. I highly recommend this item!

This is exactly what I needed to smooth out some rough stuff. It’s comfortable and true to size. Most importantly it sucks in all of those trouble parts.

Yeah, I’m not extremely overweight and my spanks tore right down the middle when I was changing my clothing. So I definitely wanna try a different brand. They lasted about a month and a half to two months.
