This drill is the best all around use drill I have ever had
Been doing carpentry for over 30 years. I was there when battery drills came out. This drill is the best all around use drill I have ever had. Batteries last a long time, it has plenty of torque and the gears last through a lot of abuse. Balance is nice, but not perfect.

Heavy duty and powerful. Milwak. has done several other versions of the hammer drill but NONE are this powerful.

This drill has excellent power transfer for a battery operated drill. You can tell by the feel that this is well built and has more than sufficient torque for 99% of the jobs I will ever assign this thing. I have other Milwaukee tools and am partial to them, because of their performance and durability. However, if you are looking for a lightweight hobby drill, this may not be the best option. It is a fairly heavy drill for a battery operated tool.

Perfect
I already have a bunch of M18 tools and didn’t need another charger and battery. This drill is fast, efficient, and as tough as they come. I used it to drill some holes in our concrete flooring to put up a wall. I wouldn’t use it if I have a lot of holes to drill because it gets really hot. Like, REALLY hot. Use the right tool for the right job.
