I bought the 15 foot thinking the extra length would make a better reach. I was a bit surprised when it came in 2 pieces. The 3 foot extension at first seemed awkward. Having used it, I am very happy. I have a deck around my above ground pool and like sweeping from there. The extension adds enough extra length that I can reach about 3/4 of the pool from there. Once on the ground, I can reduce it to about 8 feet without removing the extension. Watch out if you use it at ground level as when you tip it back, the water gushes out a hole at the end of the handle. But from above, this helps equalize the water in the handle. The metal is solid and I expect it to last a while.

Sturdy light build quality. Nice addition to pool equipment.

This is the second pole from this manufacturer we have bought. This one is longer, which I needed. For the first week I used it, the extensions kept slipping together. My grandson extended it, not quite all the way, and tightened it really tight for me. It has not slipped since. I do not change the length on it, which isn't a problem since I have a shorter pole if I need it. I like it because it has thickness to the walls of the pipe making strong yet it is light weight.

Totally worth it!! The metal feels strong and sturdy. The white pieces to open and close the extension poles are solid and work well. Overall happy with my purchase!

I bought one and liked it so much I quickly ordered two more. They are light weight, strong and easy to adjust. They work perfect. I will be curious to see how they do over the course of a year or two after some wear and tear, but so far, so good.

Terrible. No matter how hard you tighten, the pole keeps slipping back into itself. This happens 30 days past your purchase so you cannot return or get a refund.

Lasted 2 summers the it broke. I would stay away from aluminum for 15ft poles. They are strong enough.
