Excellent product to protect your hands from skillet burn

I like this handle but because of the way it is designed on the inside you have to pout it on the skillet before cooking and cannot switch it around as you use more than one skillet. The inside is made so that it holds tight and does not slip as easily but I find this to be a hindrance for the most part. The grade of rubber seemed fine as it never got too hot and did a great job.

The design and heat protection are great...just wish I would have considered my situation more before ordering. I cook on a wood burning stove where the entire cook top gets HOT--like cooking on a very large griddle. Often the entire skillet (handle included) is on the stove. So, the silicone gets hot from being over the cooking surface. To prevent, I have to take the handle on and off while cooking which, is a little annoying. Great product, just doesn't work in all cooking settings.

It amazes me what silicone can do. This product can handle incredible temperatures on the stove and out of the oven. This was supposed to be a Christmas present, but we forgot to wrap it up with a cast iron pan, and we’ve been using it ever since. I highly recommend this product, and will update down the road if anything changes.

Just a warning that this doesn't fit a cast iron skillet that lodge sells! But if it's anything like the mini version then it'll be great

Good asset to go with the AMAZING lodge cast iron pan,as if you are not used to using a cast iron pan its easy to forget and the handle gets hot..This eliminates that so a good safety feature.
