365nm 50W is great for cyanotypes
I used the 365nm 50W to make a4 cyanotypes.I set it up on an old desk lamp arm about 20cm above the paper.Holding down the paper with a sheet of acrylic I got developing times over 30mins, but I switched to glass and this works much better at around 10mins, even with double-coated paper. My biggest print so far has been a 20x60cm panorama which I exposed from about 30cm and got an evenly exposed print. I think the larger 100W lamp will be the way to go for quick prints bigger than A3.Other reviews complain that it gets hot. Yes, it does, but it's designed to dissipate heat and will cook cyanotypes happily all day if given ventilation. Mounted properly it doesn't even need to be touched.I've also seen complains that it's underpowered, but I've managed to make cyanotypes in under ten minutes so I can't concur. It might be a case of using the wrong material to cover the print during exposure.I'm really pleased with this purchase. It came with a UK plug, was easy to mount safely to avoid touching the hot lamp and the UV-A is relatively safe. And I'm getting really nice cyanotypes at a nice quick rate.

Works for cyanotypes - 50w 365nm
Used this lamp to make a uv light box for cyanotype printing without having to rely on sunlight and it works great.I wasn’t sure which option to go for between 50w or 100w but I did a quick test exposing one half of a print for 10 mins and the other for 5 mins from a distance of around 15cm and the print came out the same on both sides. So 50w is plenty powerful to expose a print in 5 mins or less.It came with a UK plug despite the images shown in the listing.

Fantastic little light.
I was blown away by this light. It's only really small so I was worried it wouldn't be bright enough to light up all my 7x3m bar area but it works wonderfully! I'm so impressed and it helped my glow party look amazing !

Fantastic range
Loved this black light, we used it for a neon party and it lit up the entire room. Didn’t get hot and has a metal bar at the back so it can stand by itself or you could use it to hook over something on the wall. Long cable means we could plug it in a floor plug and still hang it under the ceiling.

Dangerous plug
The light didn't switch on when first received, so I started a return. Prior to boxing, I decided to give it one last try before a trip to the post office. On plugging it back in, the light flickered and went off. I moved the cable near the plug and the light came back on again.I unplugged it and I did some further checks inside the plug and noted that all 3 terminal screws had not been screwed in. The wires could be freely moved in and out of the terminal! This could be a potential fire hazard and I dread to think how many others are out there with this issue. The wires are also tinned and the lamp is running with a 13amp fuse.I can't recommend this based on a lack of basic safety QC checks.

UV light
It is incredibly small and the cable is very short. Not sure how it is supposed to be waterproof outside in the rain unless you have a waterproof socket outside near where you need theUV light.A longer cable with the switch half way along would be really helpful. On a positive note the light is quite bright for 10 kw.
