Q: Picture shows aaa too short for charger to reach contact points. Does it work?

Be sure to read the enclosed instructions for the charger regarding proper insertion of both size batteries. As already noted, different contact points and different insertion techniques. If you are forcing AAA's in place (and ruining the charger contacts) or they fall out you are doing something wrong.

Q: Waterpik toothbrush has battery 3.7V, can I replaced with these battery?

No, this is a different type of battery, different voltage. It would not work.

Q: How long it takes to charge 2 aa with an advanced charger?

TL;DR: 2.5-3 hours I'm not entirely sure what an "advanced charger" is but my charger outputs 3V@1550mA to two AA batteries. At this rate the batteries should take roughly 2.5 to 3 hours to charge. Your charger is likely not very different so I would expect the same. I'd recommend having enough so that you always have batteries to swap with because that is extremely convenient.

Q: What about use in Europe, will an adapter work? Can it withstand the higher voltage used there? Thanks!

The answer by jennicalaura is incorrect. The charger is 100V-240V Auto Voltage. It's printed right on the package (see left side of the picture). So yes, it will work in Europe with the appropriate adapter and without using a transformer.
