Fits under airplane seat.
Size is perfect for under airplane seat. Trip was from freezing to Puerto Rico warm, I didn't fill the bag up to the rim bc I wanted to leave some room to take off some of my layers before getting to warmer climate.I like that it has two zipper bags on the outside when unfolded. Before I unfolded it I took a good look at how it folds back up and I had no problem doing so. It's pretty simple. It definitely does not hold the shape as in the picture. They probably put a balloon inside so it would hold the shape. But that means it is more flexible and squeezable into space. I like it. One zipper bag doubles with the help of Velcro to secure over carry-on handle.

Works great
Yes, it's thin and has no structure and the strap isn't padded. But you get what you pay for, you know? For a cheap bag that fits in the little slot for cheap airlines, it's perfect. I was able to buy the cheapest tier ticket with Spirit and use this as my personal item with no trouble. The lime green was a bonus too since that's basically my signature color lol.You have to be careful with how you pack it since it's easy for it to end up too wide, though. I put a piece of cardboard in the bottom for support but next time I might put cardboard on the sides since my stuff kept shifting as I was walking. I highly recommend packing cubes so you can kinda stack up your clothes and keep them orderly!

totally worked
its a good amount of space and did fit the requirements for a carry on for frontier. i got tired of carrying it on my shoulders so you can almost wear the handles like a backpack (not adjustable). the pocket zipper on the outside goes too far down and leaves you at risk for easily losing things if you dont zip it right so i sewed up the side. i would recommend

Successful trip via Frontier airlines!
When I got the bag I was immediately impressed by the quality of the materials including high quality zippers and thoughtful details (extra side pockets etc).I was able to fit a surprising amount of items in the bag and was afraid it wouldn’t fit in the sizer but I was able to squeeze it in thankfully!A couple tips/wishes:- bc the bag is so malleable you can unknowingly exceed the depth limit; if traveling Frontier just be sure not to pack wide rigid items that stretch the bag and won’t flex back in when you need it to fit in the sizer.- I wish the side pocket with a 3-edged zipper had a double zipper bc it can be easy for stuff to fall out. But minor point!- the strap is not padded, I happened to have a different padded strap I was able to swap on for comfort.Overall giving 5 stars for the price point. Recommend!

Lightweight, Durable, Outside Pockets a Plus
I had already had a traveler similar which are great to take as carryon on airplane. Missing were the additional outside side pockets this unit has and hope to get to enjoy that enhanced useage and easy access to outside the bag. THese are light weight making it easier to handle than a heavier leather. Got the dark gray which looks nice and should hide any traveling exposure to dirt easier. Only thing they could have included was directions on how to re-fold !

OK for the price
I bought this bag SUPER last minute for a flight across the country. I didn’t want to use a carry on suitcase so I chose this duffel. It can hold a lot and fits nicely in the overhead bin on an airplane. The product details say it matches the dimensions of a personal item that you can put under the seat in front of you. Unless you only plan on only putting a few items in it, I would consider it a carry on. The fabric isn’t anything spectacular, but it gets the job done. I’ve only used it for one round-trip (with a layover each way), but I have a feeling it wouldn’t last more than 2. It can zip into itself which is convenient for storage (if you put the time into actually figuring out how to zip it back up). If you plan on carrying this across an airport or for a long period of time, I wouldn’t recommend it. I’m very petite and it was extremely awkward to carry especially while rolling a suitcase. My boyfriend carried it for me for the first two flights, but I was on my own on the way home. Just carrying it for one day made my shoulder sore for three days. Also the extra strap to attach it to your suitcase works but if the weight of the bag isn’t distributed well, it’ll tip your suitcase over. It’s just too wide. I would use this again for road trips, but not flying.

It's a winner for travel as a "Personal Item"
I just returned from my first trip with the bag. In the past I have flown Frontier where I used a backpack as my personal item. (I was determined to NOT pay for a bag). My backpack lost square inches due to curves and not exact measurements. This bag has a rectangular shape that allows me to take more, maximizing the dimensions to the limit set by Frontier. You do need to be careful not to stuff it full, because there is not rigidness to it and you might exceed the dimensions a little bit if it bulges beyond the seams. Packing it with it lying on its side like a traditional rectangular suitcase was easiest for keeping that shape. Once packed, I checked it with a measuring tape at home. At the airport I put it in the Frontier sizer both trips and it was perfect! And the agents never batted an eye at it. It fit right under the seat, with ideal room on the plane row too!I found the fabric to be very durable and the zippers were surprisingly nice. The carry straps are not padded or anything, which would have been better, but it worked well. The crazy thing is that the dimensions of usable space in this bag are pretty similar to a regular carry-on sized bag because the rolling bags use inches for handles and wheels. I would say most people can take at least 4 to 5 days of outfits in this bag, and save $MONEY$ on bag fees! Just have to be willing to carry it. Glad I got this bag and I look forward to flying with it many more times!
