Sturdy and well made as far as I can tell. If it doesn't rust I'll buy more of this brand in the future. Love that it came with full size pans. I've been having some trouble with that recently. Everything was half pans.

Great for plein air

I love this water color pallet it has many spaces to use and cleans up easily.

Bought on the recommendation of an art teacher. The only drawback is the half trays don't stay attached to the bottom of the palette. It's fine if you keep the palette upright, but if jostled or moved, some of the half trays may move. I did notice two small metal clip-like things on the edges and bent those in a little, it seems to help. My colors/trays haven't fallen out.It's a great product for filling your own trays with tubed watercolors. Compact and area for storing brushes or pencil in middle. Would be good for travel with the size and how many trays.

This is a great travel tin (or just small palette). The overall quality is good: the enamel finish, the metal quality, the rolled edges. I did have to slightly pinch the end of the lid hinge so that the pin would quit trying to work it's way out. If you like the overall design, there's not much more to say.

The media could not be loaded. Please disregard the negative reviews. They're from people who don't want how tin waterproof pallettes work. The review that claims the finger ring makes the pallet too wobbly to paint on didn't align the ring on the flat part on the pallette flat surfaces. Those who complain about the half pans moving within tray didn't adjust the clamps. Tin pallettes were designed so well they haven't needed to change for decades.This company has created a high quality replica of the original. As far as I've seen, negative reviews are due to user error.These are average ½ pan size. I've compared them with 5 different brands. ½ pans can hold 2ml of paint & my smallest QoR tubes hold 5ml & my largest tube holds 11ml.This will be perfect as I setup my very 1st professional travel pallette!My only minor issue is that I wanted a vibrant pastel color & these colors are more muted. They're not the bright pastel I hoped for. They're more of a vintage pastel. They do complement my Paul Reubens pink pallet well & was my other goal.If you're not taking this tin pallet outside, I recommend a separate ceramic mixing pallet. That way you'll have better water control & the space to make as much paint so you won't worry about remixing colors.

I love the smaller size of this . I was able to fill it with my favorite paint in the colors of my choice. I like the way the pallet and lid fold over and snap shut.
