Algatec Synergy Algaecide-Water Clarifier

Use in combination with a TON of chlorine bleach and you will not be dissapointed. If you have algae dont just add this to your pool and expect it to fix the problem. Add tons of bleach and using this in tandem with it will give you CRYSTAL clear water. Seems like it has some sort of flocculant in it to make the suspended particles drop as well. Results are immaculate

Well, yesterday my pool water was cloudy (30,000 gallon inground, vinyl liner). Clean, but cloudy. Super shock and a bottle of Algatec (as directed) and this morning the pool is 90% clear. I’ve used this product in the past but I knew this recent event was going to be a challenge. I’ve been trying to get this under control for 2 days. I know…$40 for 64 ounces seems a bit pricey …but Algatec WORKS! (Oh, and the local pool supply store wanted $200 for an algae cocktail) Back to Algatec…it works overnight. I’ve used cheap algicides in the past- thought I was saving money. Going forward I’ll use only Algatec. Could not be more delighted with the result. Thank to Algatec and thank to Amazon.

I somehow ended up with fast-spreading black algae (along with green and mustard) in a recently filled pool, so I had newer water. I even had a pool RX in it??? I put this in and noticeable results within 24 hours. So far so good, it removed a lot of the spots but some are stubborn. Will report back.

I started using this when Leslie’s Pool Supply carried it. They don’t anymore and none of their products works as well as this!Pro tip: put a little in your pump and it will keep the pump filters much cleaner.

Okay, so, admittedly, I don't really go out of my way to do product reviews because well, ADHD and lazy. This stuff deserves all the alcaide I could ever give though. LOOK I know who I am as a person and yet, I still bought a house with a pool and cited that toxic phrase "I can do that" when it came to cleaning and maintaining it. Spoiler alert, I COULD but did I? NO. I'm sorry but I'm cold and cleaning a pool in winter is a no from my dawg. Enter algaegeddon 2024. My pool was literally a swamp this morning. I couldnt even see the bottom and I was legitamently waiting for SpongeBob to pop up and laugh at me. I ordered this last night and it was delivered an hour ago. 5 minutes after I put it in the pool, I could start to see the bottom and those familiar blue-green glimmers of a past, far less cold and lazy time. I'm stoked to check in the minimum 4 hours theDirections cite. Bravo. Do yourself a solid and just buy it. You won't regret it. It has already saved me about a week and half an in ground pools' worth of water bill.
