This review isn't about the tool itself, because over the years it has been an effective tool.It has sanded, grinded, polished and cut as expected.It has not overheated or failed in powering.For all tense and purposes, it is a reliable product...What the consumer should be aware of is the energy component of this device; being that it runs on energy and stores its own power has a propensity of carrying energy in its wake, as you apply your fixes.I found myself maneuvering through the manutia of bike parts and what should still be the energy component of this Dremel.But who knows what eBay brings to the table?Or what ever else is in the post office and its postal routes.Its a Dremel, not a rehargeable foot massager.So just be aware, you might be facing off with the same demons, again and again, over the use of this device and how it has entered your life.I've had mine for nearing 30 months, or two and a half years and it is an exceptonal product in every way, but I would still consider only the needs of what I use it for in a short term application and not something that stays with me as part of a collection in patents or inventions.The benefit is portability.The buyer should be aware that its difficult to maintain portable energy in an every changing market, and yes, that means your cordless tools are effected too.

Only has one speed, but works very well and hold a long charge

I use it to do my dogs’ nails. I order a diamond bit and the product works great for the nails. I never used this way of taking care of their nails before but it worked great. It is a little noisy. But that was expected.

Did not have high hopes for this low cost dremel that I needed right now when my beloved Dremel “Micro” died after several years of being the “perfect” dremel for dog toenails. It is no longer being manufactured. BUT THIS is now the perfect Dremel for dog nails. No light but not a problem for some reason. Only one speed but it is the perfect speed. Cordless. The right size for my medium hands. Charges with usb. Only problem is that there is no charging or power indicator so you’re guessing. I charged it for an hour to start and so far have done nails on 4 medium dogs. I’m going to keep going until it runs out so I’ll learn what it’s capable of. Should probably take off a star for this, but the low cost makes up for it. Comes with extra bands and written directions. I find the bands last for years. This is not an all purpose dremel - meant for light use only. Perfect for dog nails.

It's a genuine Dremel, bought it strictly for sharpening chain saws and my saw mill blades, works like it is supposed to and reasonable price.. Very happy with purchase.

It looks nice, it’s quieter than expected. I’m a little disappointed in the power. I expected more from Dremel.
