Price was great, about a third of what it costs at the auto shop, but once I installed it I understood why. Every time I turn on my truck it makes a grinding noise. I was iffy from the beginning because it’s compatible with my 03 Chevy Silverado according to the seller but it’s also compatible with so many other types and makes of cars that I hadn’t seen before. I can’t speak for other cars but if you have a Chevy truck don’t bother. I’m going to have to pay for another starter and lose my money on this one because if not it will end up ruining my flywheel and that’ll be even more. Just don’t do it.

Arrived quickly, bolted on easily. Fits perfectly. Works well and continues to work well. Always starts right up. Rust free even in NY.

Item is good enough for the price. I have a 4x4 Yukon and space ti work on it is very tight. Removing tire is a must ti gain access to the wiring. I ednded up having to work using 2 hands to line up the bolts, one from the bottom and one trough the upper outside access. That was the most challenging part . Juat be calm ,jack up the car high enough and use jack stands for safety and gloves to avoid scratching up tour hands. Its a tricky maneuvering deal to both remove and put back but its doable. Took me about 2 hours. A 13 mm wrench and socket and a 8mm socket was all i needed.

Exact fit, works perfect. I have had it on for a couple months now no issues can’t go wrong for the price.

I wasn't quite sure what to expect but what i received was a good condition reman with a test sheet and results included. I'd highly recommend this item if you need a compatible replacement starter for a gm 4.8 or 5.3. Well worth the purchase.
